Paddy, I'll tell you the same thing I told UB, don't take this forum so personal.
If you honestly believe that someone on this forum wouldn't like you because of your internet persona or ideals, you need to take a break from it or for sure stay away from that person.
Check this out, I have 3 friends that I consider true friends.
Two of them I hang out with all the time, one is pretty much like me on the political barometer.
The other one is a liberal through and through. Him and I battle politics regularly, in fact, he is about as looney as you are about climate change.
My point is, even though we disagree on most issues, it does not define our friendship, I think we both realize how shallow that would be.
This doesn't mean I won't quit giving you shit, but just don't take it so serious and personal.

I agree with you, I don't take anything here personally because nobody here knows me in real life, so any opinion someone might form of me is not the whole scope of who I am. That's why the 'rape' comments don't bother me
