Winter Growing / Humidity & Temp

I need some help please...
I recently made new rooms for my kids.
Much larger space and winter is here. I have a garage bay that houses all 4 of my rooms.
Clone and Veg rooms seem to be okay within the temp and humidity ranges. (65-75 with 45-55%)
My flower room is 7.5' x 7.5' x 5'. I have 1 HPS 400watt and 1 MH 250. 6" intake and 4" exhaust both with descent cfm fans.
The temp outside is about 23-30 degrees F.
So I have a heater in the room.
I had my flower room at 60-65 with 30% H. I got the temp up to about 80 but my humidity went down to 20-25%.

Please let me know what I can do to get in the correct range. I don't want to lose my second round.
Any information will be appreciated.

I shoot for 74-78 F. Increasing humidity is as easy as setting out buckets of water, preferably near that heater. Electric humidifiers cause problems like mold and require maintenance.

I agree temps in the Low 70's is perfect for flower. Are you using a radiant heater or a fan driven heater? A fan driven heater may lower humidity; While a radiant oil filled unit is perfect for keeping the room mildly warm.

not enough r/h increases risk of getting PM (powdery mildew).

I've never heard that. Mildew is a fungus like mold, and thrives in higher humidity. I've never had it on my plants, so I can't say you're wrong. I know plants take in much more water when rh is low.

PM requires dry and moist times. Dry enables spores to spread, moist stimulates growth.

More biomass gets rh% up and more light gets heat in the room.

iuno i usually run between 20-30% in winter months.. i dont add anything to my rooms.. just turn my intake to half speed during lights on.. and off during lights off.. and my exhaust fans go on and off to keep temps ok.. but in reality.. i havent had much issue in the winters with low humidity..

Sorry, I have not replied back.
Thank you for all of your input.
The 1st frost kicked my but, but now is just rainy here in the Washington mountains.

I am using a fan driven heater not the radiator style...to answer you Iatewood.

I installed insulation in my grow garage...that seemed to help a lot with controlling the temps.

I did add more lights, as its a new room to have more space and needed the extra light to cover the new space.
In the new room I just had my 400w HPS, added the 250w MH and now I added my 400w 8 bulb T5 Light in there as well.
I know that the T5's dont put a lot of heat but is bright as hell and thought it would help cover the room with more light until I can get another 400w HPS set up.
I just set the 3rd light up and with the insulation it really seems to be helping.

I just gotta keep rotating the plants to be sure they get equal time under the different lights. Do you think that is a good idea?

I am worried about the cold months ahead. I was thinking about running my exhaust from my drying room into the clone area to keep it warmer in there.
Thoughts on that???

Look into a radiant heater. What you are using causes dry heat. You want R/H at 40-50% in flower. Higher in Veg.

As far as dryer vent heat. If you try this; You nust make sure you do not blow lint into your growroom. Probably, not a good idea to smoke lint laced MJ.

Good cuz I just got done with a really good harvest n now Iv started my sour diesel. Out of six seeds only one germinated and im 16 days from first sprout. But in the summer I always had 80°f with 60-70%humidity. Now , my seedling looks great but I'm only at 40% humidity n I'm nervous on how its ten degrees colder n humidity way drier..... Do u think I'll run into problems (anyone) with dry humidity

Lower humidity shouldn't really affect growth negatively; Cannabis plants still get water through the leaves and will grow fine as long as they have moisture in the media. If it is drier the containers will dry out quicker. Cannabis grows wild in arid climates.

Well from what I have learned, for your clones you want a higher Humidity.
However 40 might be ok what is your temp at with the 40% humi.?
Are you using a heating pad thing under your clones/seedlings?

For veg, you want 65% pr higher. IN bloom 40% is awesome. Running consistently low humidity levels; Do! Effect your plants.

I haven't used any kind of heating pad , my temp is right at like 75 degrees and humidity is at like 42%...... My last grow ,it was at 80-85°f and 70% humidity n it was like perfect, so I'm just kinda wondering if it will be okay at these conditions. It looks really good n healthy right now at 15 days old , its sour diesel n is completely different then my last, this one the leaves are real fat and lighter green , I'm kinda mad that I got only one to germinate out of the five seeds I had but just gotta keep preying its a she lol

I have like three buckets of water in my closet and it barley raised the humidity, last grow ,if I added just a small bowl of water it would higher the humidity
