Why is OG Kush worth more in the streets..?

Hey guys,

I wanna know, why is OG kush, purple kush, afghan kush, etc all worth more in the streets nowadays..?

Is it harder to grow, yields less or something?! I'm just curious about it, it must have a reason!! :p

So I guess, as a street dealer (part time grower), it's really worth it to specialize yourself into growing all kinds of kush for your good weekly clientele..?

It's worth it to specialize in one strain and get it right. Different strains like different environments, and you would rather perfect one than have 7 kinds of lower quality.

By the way: My OG Kush :)

Agreed. I've had this cut for almost 6 or 7 years... before the "Kush craze" really exploded.

I feel so bad calling it "Og Kush" these days I use a different name when donating it :roll:

OG Kush is Chem Dawg, if it is real. The strain was absconded from the east coast and re named for popularity. The only reason it is more expensive is the name at this point. Once a strain gets named in several pop rap songs the price will undoubtedly go up 10$/gram or so. Good idea though, grow a strain, then rap about it. Youll be a rich man.

Its been beat to death on this site thats all, kind of an inside joke. Now who cares to hear the tale of "Dumpster Myst" the most potent and rare of breeds out of Columbus, Ohio?

I've only heard it called Dumpster and I heard the story behind it .

I actually grew some once, the seed pack said "CHEM DAWG STRAIN NUMBER C LAST BATCH EVER!!!!!!!" I wish i would have kept her pure, all I have anymore is a cross I made with Death Star that goes purple on me every other year
