Anyone looked into buying testing equipment?

I heard a ton of things all week. Testing was one of the doozies that was preached every session.
One of the exhibits out here was from SRI. They sell gas chomatographs. $12k.
These don't test for molds or pesticides. I figure that I know my meds and my grow, I need a shit
load of testing done on tinctures, flowers, bho, and edibles this next year and this investment makes a lot of sense to me right now. Anyone else doing this, or researched it? I always heard gas chomatographs were closer to $250k. Seeing one this cheap has me pretty tempted.
My plan would be to acquire one of these testers, then have Iron Labs test whatever I have at the moment, then check my tester to theirs. It they use the liquid chromatographs.
Any info/advice out there?

A GC/MS will by nature decarb your product leaving you unable to differentiate between acetate and decarboxylated forms (THCA vs THC and so on).

A LC/MS will give detailed results.

This is what it says about SRI Instruments in the Exhibitors section of book.

SRI Instruments manufactures (in the US) low cos gas chromatographs (GCs)which measures the THC, CBD, CBN, and other cannabinoid molecules in cannabis flowers, concentrates and edibles. SRI's $12,000 system includes everything you need to test for THC, CBD, CBN, residual solvents, terpene profiles and even THCA which previously could only be measured by a more expensive technique.

I am considering this pretty hard. We need one of these.
My brian was sore for two weeks learning to work that fucking extractor, anyone know if this is more complicated?

Well if you get one, you can open up a testing facility in the UP...Probably the only one! I say go for it
