Very nice job on the trim. How long did that take you?Ok I got her broke down and trimmed, here's a couple more pics. I may have broke the oz mark, wet weight of 114 grams after trim.

Didn't really check the clock but around a hour I'd say.Very nice job on the trim. How long did that take you?
This is the first time I've taken a wet weight. Someone can correct me if I'm off on the number but I thought you lose about 70% of your weight from wet to dry. So 114 grams times 30% comes out to 34.2 grams. Even at 25% it comes out to 28.5 grams.Just curious how you estimate your dry weight. 28 grams dry would be 24.5% of the wet weight. Is that basically what you do? Divide wet by 4 to get an estimate?
Since this is my first go with wet weight I just googled it and the numbers vary a bit. Like everything in MM it's probably strain dependent so I guess I'll find out later.I've read as high as 75 percent but that's the highest I found. Either way, you pulled an oz. that's impressive.
It really depends on how much you starve the plant of water to. If you water before you chop (not saying you did) then there will obviously be more wet weight but yes I have heard 70% as well. I have never taken wet weights though as I dont like to handle the buds more than necessaryThis is the first time I've taken a wet weight. I like to cure mine around 55% RHI must dry mine way too much! As I usually end up with 20-22% of my wet weight....hurting myself all these years I suppose
Thats the perfect rh to aim for in my eyes....either way thats looking like a nice haul Next year will be called the upside down cup comp hahahaI like to cure mine around 55% RH
thought you jumped in and backed out....No sarcasm.........I really can't vote and it will be an extremely hard decision this round.
what about DWC? They stay in water....It really depends on how much you starve the plant of water to. I didn't think that wet weight had any bearing on dry weight.... lemme go pull mine down..... Ummmm.... my scale says overload.......its got a 200g limit....This is the first time I've taken a wet weight. Not an ounce, but I think she did pretty well...especially since this is my first run with these COBs and I have no idea how far away to keep them, haha. It's been a fun comp with all of you guys, so thanks for having me
