I was away, off grid, for an annual Memorial Day weekend tradition. After reading the new updates, I wanted to return a positive vibe to this thread with a smoke report.
Holiday included 4 days of smoking exclusively on my harvest from this competition. I can tell you that I'm truly impressed with the quality of the high from this completely free and unknown strain. So grateful to
@kepster for making the Mystery Meat possible, and
@J.James for hosting this competition.
Myself and few close comrades cast our desk jobs aside every year for major construction work: digging, hauling, burning, building and a lot of other manual-labor related tasks. We do this charity event every year and use no electricity or internet connectivity in the process. Anyways...
After telling everyone where the bud came from we aptly named her Party Lady. She has obvious Sativa leaning traits. The smell of this bud brings me back over 20 years to when I first smoked "skunk". The high is very energetic and helped make obstacles easy to overcome. Stopping to listen to the birds and enjoy being in the backcountry proved to be a captivating distraction from work. We smoked mostly joints and it burned smooth and tasted great all the way down to the last inch. Huge bong hits didn't destroy the lungs either. Very earthy, woody flavor with no cotton mouth.
Construction without electricity or hydraulic equipment makes you appreciate modern engineering and convenience. Taking that away encourages ingenuity that brings out the inner MacGyver. I believe this herb enhanced the team's engineering prowess and the overall experience more so than year's past.
We smoked up most my harvest and it was this good with only a 20 day cure. There are some really healthy beans that came out of the Party Lady...
