Before I start, please no debates. Just give me our opinion & go. If I like what you've told me I'll add you for later reference for my grow.

So I'm starting my new grow in about 2 weeks I plan on using LED lighting which I've never done, and I'm not working with ample space. I have about 3 1/2ft in length, 2 1/2 feet in width, and about 6ft in height for space. All of these measurements are just eye guestimations. I plan on growing 2 plants in 5 gallon buckets, I'll be using texsport portable fan for air flow, my light setup will be 3 LED lights all blue and red spectrum , my soil choice is Fox Farm Ocean Organic Potting Soil, my Nutrients chioce is Fox Farm Liquid Nutrient Trio Soil Formula.(Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom.). 2 54W E27 Lvjing 360 12Red-6Blue LED lights which will go bottom left of the left plant, bottom right of the right plant, and a 120W Lvjing LED square over head 1365 Red/Blue spectrum. I'm using Mylar reflective material to create a 360 degree reflective surface from Ceiling to Floor.Once my plants begin to grow I want to run just the over head for 5-6 weeks of veg, and I'll run all three for 4 weeks of flowering. For Veg I'm going to put them on a 18hr light schedule, and for flower I planned on using a 12hr schedule. Do I have enough light? If so how close should these lights be to the plants? How much nutrients should I use throughout the grow? Are my light schedules correct? What kind of temp should I maintain? I would also like to use a spray bottle for my nutrients how should I go about that?

Plenty of light. Light times are fine but flower will take longer (at least 8 weeks) and you only need 4 weeks of veg.

Soil has nutes. None for all or most of veg. Wait until they show they need it and then start with 1/2 the dose on the fox farms chart.

18-24" above the plants.

You should top and train in veg.

I'm in almost the exact same boat here. Just about the same size cabinet and set up. Getting ready to switch over to a Full Spectrum LED, using Fox Farms soil and nutes. From what I have read online and the forum, everything GrowinDad said is spot on. I'm running CFLs right now so the only thing I am worried about is a lack of heat with the LED setup because its starting to get cold where I'm at. I'm about 2 weeks into veg and will be switching over in a day or two. I'll post the good and bad things I find out after the switch. Good luck with your grow.

My switch to LED from CFL was almost seamless. I was having some problems with the soil not drying fast enough for my liking and my roots were staying too wet. I could have adjusted my soil mix and use less vermiculite. But instead I drilled some holes in the side of my pots, about 1/2" in diameter. With the airflow hitting those it made all the difference.

My tent is in my office so it stays a good temp. But you can always throw a few CFLs in there to add some heat if need be. My LED keeps the tent about 3-4 degrees above the overall room temp.

The great thing about LED is being able to keep them well above the canopy (compared to CFL). So much easier!

I think I'm going to have to run a few cfls to keep the heat up. My cabinet is in a spare room that's always been on the cold side. Temp is good with the lights on, but since it's colder at night now it was dropping to 62 F. I bought a heat rock, the kind they use for reptiles, it runs at night and now the lowest temps I get are 68 F. Will have to see what happens when the LED gets here in a day or two.

I'm new, 1st grow, have one Liberty Haze going right now. It's a test run before I run some of the seeds I really want to go with.

I agree, you will need to find a heat source in order to keep your soil warm and constantly drying out. My 2X2.5 tent drops to 68 with LED's alone. I add a couple monster CFL's (100 actual watt bulbs) in order to raise temps to 72. With LED's low temps, I'd reccomend porus grow bags, or airpots. These would dry out better by allowing air into the sides.

Thanks for the info, that hot rock helps to increase it a few degrees, which isn't bad for $18. I may have to move my cabinet to the other side of the room closer to the heater vent but then I have to run everything with an extension cord (old house so only one outlet in that room). It's not ideal but may be my only option. I don't want to overload that outlet by adding a space heater.

New LED arrived yesterday, got it up and running tonight, going to keep an eye on the temps over the next few hours, I took my cfl rig out, going to have work something out for later for side lighting using some cfls. I have some time before she's big enough to need it though.
