This is my first grow and I am doing DWC. I am in the beginning of week 4 and these problems started at the beginning of week 2. At first they started on the first two serrated leaves and i thought it may be because of the light foliar spray I did at the beginning of week 2 but the problem developed on leaves that came after the foliar spray. So I checked the PH and found out that after I would balance my nute solution out at 6.0 the PH was rising up to a 7.5 so I corrected it to 6.0 about 4 or 5 days ago. But the problem is still appearing in new places. Brown, light green, tan, and white spots and holes that look as if it were burned. my ppm is between 430 and 460 and comes out of the tap about 60 to 90 ppm. I use tap water for my solution and treat it with AquaSafe I have not heard of it doing any harm to plants. My light is a 400w HID that I have decreased to 75% power. Humidity stays between 40 and 60 percent and temp between 70 to 81 degrees.IMG_8192.JPG

I did not see the water temp? All the other #s look good,I would not worry about it looks like spray or something on the leaves.Get the ph to 5.8 or better yet read rosemans tutorial he's got tons of information on dwc.I grew dwc for some years everything went well until I started having temp problems in the water then it got as bad as it had been good.Did you rinse everything good that goes in the water with ph adj water? With your ph raising like that I would take it on down to something like 5.5 & let it raise it self to 5.8.
Good Luck & heavy yields to ya!

Hello, I can't see any deficiency. If you sparing nutrients on leaves it is a bad idea, even if it's recommended by the manufacturer.

I looked up
Formaldehyde sodium bisulfite
which may be in your Aquasafe. It is listed not for human consumption. If you are using it to prevent
algae and such, try Zone by Dutch Masters, cheap and it works.

\I use AquaSafe to dechlorinate the water. I sprayed on time thats when it all started then I noticed the PH flux. Showing on the tips of leaves now and on one newer leaf.

Stop loving your plants to death.

They look awesome.

Trust me, they will let you know when something is wrong.
