You are using the 9v version of the 1304's, aren't you? They come in 9,18 and 36v versions. I just run them at 350ma. There are tons of driver choices. You can get one that will run 24 in a single string if you like. They run cooler and more efficiently at the lower amperage.

How many watts will I get if I run them at 350ma? I only have 24 of them. I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck
, yes the 9v

9 x .35 = 3.15w
3.15w x 24 = 75.6w

Here's why 350ma is the best fit for the 9v CXA1304. At the test current of 400ma the B4 bin 5,000k emitter produces ~425 lumens. When they are driven harder they make more heat and use more power per watt. In other words, by driving them at 650ma you won't get 1.625 times as much light. On the other hand, driving these emitter at 350ma produces more lumens per watt. 350ma is 87.5% of 400ma but the amount of light emitted is more like 90+% I figure near 400 lumens per emitter which works out to nearly 10,000 lumens for 24 of them.

How are you going to cool them? What size grow space?

This light was suppose to take up 1/4th of my 4.7x4.7 tent... And I was going to use active cooling, two big heat sinks and four fans in back pushing air on them
image.jpg (Btw I took the casing off one of the driver today to see the inside)

seeing as it only will be about 75w and that it wouldn't be any better to drive them harder, I am going to save these until I order more and I Find a Driver that works with them.

I'm going to just get more vero cobs. Easy

...test Vf. and If. ...of your old drives... with multimeter or amprove....

...maybe a friend with electric or electronic experience have a multimeter or amprove for testing the old drivers ...and teach you basics things...

...for new drivers maybe supra help you better than i...

...i dont know if these vids help you...

...for testing your led ...an 9 v batery...

9v or ...six 1,5 v bateries in serie...

..one led by one led...

...maybe someone do a better video or post ...with all test Vf If and Ohms for testing old drivers or old lamps ...in one unique video...

...sorry my bad bad english... and short help...
