Recirculating Scrubber w/ Exhaust(No scrubbing) Smell Leaking!?!?!!!!

Whats up guys,

I have a 8" scrubber rated 935CFM, and a 8" fan rated 720 CFM constantly scrubbing the room,

Now here's the thing,
I use an 8" fan as an exhaust fan(same cfm, 720) exhausting the room, the duct leading from the exhaust fan to outside bends several times leading outside(keep this in mind).

Do you think smell is leaking outside?
Do you think my recirculating scrubber is stronger as far as CFM output, so not much if any is leaking out?(only reason I say this is because there is no duct connecting the fan to filter, the fan sits right onto filter and runs 24/7.

I was also looking for anyone to give me any ideas on how to control the exhaust smell(if you think it leaks),
Like perhaps stuffing carbon in the end of the exhaust pipe leading out the window(el oh el, just an idea hope it's possible though),

Any opinions and ideas welcomed!

Thanks RU

Don't know if this will help you, but I have a comment. I have a 4" exhaust duct (about 4 feet long) from a carbon filter, and at the 5th week of flower, I put a small container of Ona Gel on it's side, facing in, and rest it just inside the exhaust duct. The Ona Gel stays solid, doesn't ever drip. There is some space for air to escape on the sides, about an inch space. Anyway, this removes any and all smell, if I stand outside. I'm exhausting to the outdoors, so it dissipates pretty fast anyway. But it's nice to just cap off that faint smell.

Would be interested in knowing if this puts undo pressure on my exhaust fan.

Hrmm..this is the type of idea I was looking for. Can I take the Ona Gel out it's container or must it be in it's container?
As for pressure; I wouldn't think so if it's at the end of the duct.

It's not really a gel, but has the consistency of deodorant. So I guess you could just pop it out of it's container.
