ok ....stainless .stainless, yes
Its called Grappa in Italy; theoretically the max alcohol % percent obtainable with distillation is 95% due to physics/chemistryin Portugal people make this refugee moonshine from the grape stalk leftovers from making winer. you know which one those webby thin one. I know weird but strong as fuck and you juuust about get her into you, anyways I remember they used to distill vinegar between runs. Is that something the rednecks do too? WHat kind of proof would you get if you distilled it twice man? WHat if you add a few pounds of fruit too to the mash?I know in the fucking balkans they make somethiung similar to what you said up there but with plums. By fuck does it get you some kind of fucking drunk, rakyja they call it. I was told it can reach 80 to 90% alcohol i tried one that was around 80 and a couple of shots did more than the trick! Im sure you could clean grease with it.
I'm afraid the only way a thought will penetrate THAT skull is if you write it on the side of a lawn jart, a la carrier pigeon with a twist.I already said no on aluminum. Fucking read and comprehend
calm down jimmy!!.......jeeeeess.I already said no on aluminum. Fucking read and comprehend
Proof isn't the same as percent 100 proof =50%calm down jimmy!!.......jeeeeess.
thats what i heard on i was just concernd.
theres lots of polish and russians do it wrong in uk .
TIP :if your going to distill it once you might aswell distill it three times......triple distilled russian vodka style 100% proof :}
exactly,If you don't know what your doing or don't have anyone with shining experience with you then don't try it by yourself!!!!
Always use some copper in the still.
Copper catalyses the breakdown of esters and sulfuric compounds in the vapor steam
Copper avoids the production of ethylcarbamat
Copper improves the overall quality and aroma
Copper is a great conductor of heat
Imo it's best to have a stainless pot with a copper dome and pipe.
Charcoal filtering imparts some flavors and gives that caramel color we see in whisky,bourbon,tequila,as well as filtering out any organic compounds left over after distillation.Proof isn't the same as percent 100 proof =50%
Distilling for vodka (=neutral spirits) is generally done by reflux distillation; you get just the alcohol up to 95% (more often 90%) and no flavor. That is then cut with water down to 40-50% (80-100 proof). For other liquors (whiskies, brandys, tequila, etc) pot-distillation is the method because some characteristic innate flavors come along
old oak barrels give that to scotish malt ..........the colourCharcoal filtering imparts some flavors and gives that caramel color we see in whisky,boubon,tequila,as well as filtering out any organic compounds left over after distillation.
