JUST FOUND TWO MORE SEEDS!

So a few weeks back I found three seeds in my bag of girl scout cookies. One germinated into a seedling, the other got crushed in the grinder and the last one did not germinate. After that purchase I bought other strains and today I got girl scout cookies again and there was two mature seeds in it! Nice brown ones! I was worried that my seedling would not grow into a female but now I have a higher chance!!

Last time I did the wet towel method and it literally took 8 or 9 days, I want to try the water cup method since it's fast but I wanna make sure it germinates! I'm going to save the other seed because I wouldn't want to be growing three plants right now.

id pop all 3 to raise chances of female, might save you time in the long run,

The only thing is I was planning on leaving the original plant in vegetation as long as I could and clone from it. I wouldn't want any of these plants to bud unless it's their clones

papertowel always works for me within a day to 3. make sure its warm water and place in a warm area or ontop or something that stays warm like a xbox, stereo amp, dvd player. That always gets em popping for me within a day or 2.

Put the damp paper towel in a ziploc bag to keep the moisture in. All my seeds germinate within 48 hours using this method. I've also germinated many times by just dropping the seeds right into soil.

Regarding the current plant, you can take some clones, and either flower them out to check sex, or once the clones are snipped, flower the mother, and if it turns out to be male, simply throw it along with the clones away.

Spek9 I love your idea of mothering the flower after clowning but what about that stage where the plant is still deciding whether to be male or female and certain conditions have to be met? Does that get in the way? Or does that stage occur before cloning?

Clone the plant before you know sex, then once you know for sure you at least have one or two clones producing roots, throw the parent in flower. In 5-14 days, it'll show sex. Then, if it turns out male, the clones are male as well. Otherwise, all are female.

Depending on my situation, sometimes I'll keep the parent around and just put some of the clones into flower to show sex, but with the parent in flower, if it is female, you're 1-2 weeks into having a nice large plant starting bud production, with a series of clones ready to take her place.

The method is really just a timing and space thing; it doesn't matter which way you do it. By cloning then putting the parent right into 12/12 to sex it, you reduce the amount of time to get the sex.

Spek have you read these tips before?
http://www.1stmarijuanagrowerspage.com/how-to-improve-female-male-ratio-of-cannabis-plant.html

These factors seem to play a role in the sex of the plant. It happens in the 3rd or 4th week of veg for about two weeks. I can clone after that time right?

And one of the factors is doing 14/10 to increase the chance of a female that won't make my plant go into flower right?
