this is what happens when you leave someone else in charge for a week while your away. They get sloppy and pinch an airline tube under a bucket and u come home to one bucket having little to no oxygen roots are light beige working towards dying hopefully it caan recover but heres a pic of what it looks like after a week with no airstone.

the far left plant is the one that took a week of stress.

(getting errors uploading pics will upload soon)

lets put it this way. even after a week with no air stone, that ak 49 plant in the left corner looks better than its soil counterpart and they are the same age. the 2 jack herers on the right shit all over there soil counterparts and the blim auto doesnt have a soil counterpart but its fucking huge as fuck and needs tied down i know that much.

A week is a long time in the life of a new grower. I look at my system and think oh just do this, but remembering not to long ago how strange everything was, be gentle, she looks like she'll recover anyway and that's good.

And there lies the issue with DWC. Sorry dude but first thing is get the air lines off the ground. Explain what should be happening and if its not call. I am about to leave and let my GF take care of things :o. I figure with my setup if water pump fails (no air) she'll last about 5 days max so praying it all goes well. I'm on my last jar!!! Hope yours recovers!!

I know. I do understand. My best friend assisted me in the murder of 29 four to five foot plants roughly 4 weeks into flower. At first I wanted to kill him but now it's really funny when I look back. Best of all it cleared my table and I did a lot of seeding and ran some C99 and really enjoyed it. So all in all it turned out ok LOL. It just requires someone to stop you from killing someone for a day or so LOL!

I often am "why do today what I can put off until tomorrow", but when it comes to my plants, I do things according to schedule, even when I don't feel up to it.

I use to have a helper (ex roommate, not ex roommate because of this incident), Until 1 day we were doing the water change, aero, and he decided to unplug the water pump and not tell me... This was also mid flower and I should have double checked everything. It was 2 days later before I realized something was wrong and that was because of how droopy and shitty the plants looked.

Well no more helpers and I have my system setup so that I can leave for up to a week if need be. At least your plants still look healthy up top.

My GF comes in and helps me trim but nothing with pumps or timers, for anyone but me.

I used to let my wife help out, after she killed every plant she "helped" with, I banned her from the grow room.
I should really be more thankful for my girl then. She takes magnificent care of my plants when I travel on business. In fact, many times after returning home, I'm sure they are healthier than if I did the maintenance.

Once I had to be out of town for a week, had the wife check PH levels for me.One of the boxes was a bit too high so I asked my wife to use some PH down, told her to just use the cap that came with the PH down bottle and it would only need a teaspoon to get the grow back to the correct level. This was 4 weeks into flowering.

She put the entire bottle in (2 liters), needless to say we lost $20,000 that way.
