2 months @ Chicago Customs; to the day!

Let's say, hypothetically, I am in Texas and I have ordered from a seed bank in another country successfully 2 times before. Each time the shipping took a little longer to get the souvenirs I ordered.

However, the 3rd order (according to tracking info) been at Chicago Customs preparing for shipment since Sept. 13th!

Should I be concerned? I kind of wish I would receive a green taped box or something. Not knowing is killing me. I have written it off but I am starting to question if I should shut down my (very small) operation.

For what its worth; this is for a very sick cancer patient.

Have you contacted the seller? Paying for the discrete shipping pays off as the usually reship. As for the date you gave, anything shipped into the US around Sept 11th is very prone to going missing. You can bet its gone by now but would still contact seller and in future avoid that month for incoming orders. Have had the same problem but paid for discrete shipments. Both were reshipped free of charge for extra 15 bucks.

Thanks for the replies. I believe you on the tracked or not tracked. All my non-tracked orders have made it; the 1 tracked never made it.

Herbie resent the lost order and I got it 8 days later.

In the future, I will make it a point to say "No tracking". Not sure why they gave it to me; I did not ask for it.

Still weird that I never received anything from customs.

I watch a lot of tracking when I'm helping customers.

In my experience, I see just as many packages, if not more, go into customs limbo never to emerge (they track as in customs forever) as green-taped mailers that reach their destination.

I should keep one of the numbers and track it in like 6 months to see if the status ever changes - you'd think that at some point, the mail service would want to reconcile all their shipments that were never reported as delivered.

By the way, seizures were down late summer, early fall - now they look like they're up again. My guess (and it's only a guess) is that seizures will drop closer to the holidays as the become overwhelmed with shipments.

hypothetically, texas is not where you want to be, doing this, lol. in case no one has ever told you, "you never, ever, have grow type items, sent to the grow address, ever!" (ESPECIALLY IN TEXAS, LOL.) unless of course, you're all legal, and everything is cool. and i don't see that happening in the lone star state anytime soon....
