Critical kush (barneys farm)

I ph my nutes (in soil) between 6.2 and 7.0 and let it rip.

I wouldn't go under 6.2. Not sure why you say that's the max... hell that's my minimum.
There's certain nutes that don't get taken up the higher the ph goes and the lower likewise... Soil has more buffers... So it can tolerate highs and lows better than other mediums...The highest I ever ran soil with Fox farm was 6.2.. I had good results I switched to coco a year later and dropped ph and BAM ... Coco ever since... Until now

You mean like this?

6.2 is the minimum sir. 6.8 is the sweet spot.

Good stuff...each strain runs different as does each nutrient regime.. it's like you said..it's about finding the sweet spot

Anyone can post plant pics...

That doesn't change science.

Telling someone that the max their pH in soil should be is 6.2 is simply not correct, good sir.

Nice shots, like I said I did soil way back.. and the shot was intended to show plant health... Not to show off

I honestly could care less if you disagree with me... I stated what I've done, and from my experiences... You can freely guide people it's ultimately up to the grower themselves to find there optimum... I've never heard anyone ph over 6.5 and that's the honest truth...you're the first... Maybe you're onto something

You didn't read that whole thread did you?

When someone is advising another grower to spend $20 on a liter of 4% soluble potash... fuck yeah I'll give 'em a hard time.

Seems like this is the definitive grow thread on the interwebs for this strain.

Here's mine. My first grow but it's been smooth sailing so far. Spacebuckets sure have simplified things and moving the whole operation only takes a few moments.

How do you think critical kush would compare to these strains as far as yield and potency indoor

When you say commercial, do you mean private sales? Or donating to a dispensary? If you just want the biggest buds with the most weight and still have a great high... grow Critical HOG. It's a mix of Tennessee HOG and Critical Mass.

Tennessee HOG is a strain that a lot of us grew in Tennessee before coming to SoCal. It's literally one of the best strains my state has ever produced. It might have even won an Amsterdam Cannabis Cup one year. You lose a little face-punch off the high of the HOG, but you get some huge yields with the CM genetics.

Now if you are talking about a dispensary:

I'm in SoCal and the best commercial strains are anything other people don't like growing and no one has. Blueberry's, Afghani's, Haze's, *Real* OGs, and basically any really good and fruity sativa. It's illegal to grow outdoors here, so sativas are pretty hard to come by in a lot of dispensaries.

Economics. Supply and demand. If you are the only one growing a strain and you grow half-way decently... you can get more for less weight and basically come out even. Then you can grow what you like smoking and still be able to get rid of the bulk.
