Growing with Teenage kids

At present my kids are to young to worry about going to the basement, but what happens when they become teens. I know when I was a teen, my dad could never have hidden a grow room from me.

Sucks that ill have to shut it all down, just not worth the risk them finding out and talking about it with mates.

Anyone else in the same boat.

Your not wrong, ive still got a couple years. but If my oldest is anything like me, he will have a nose for trouble lol

In the long run, I bring my kids up with eyes wide open about drugs. Kids need to be aware of the dangers, especially my favourite vice after pot - alcohol haha

So instead your solution is to "grow up" as they do?
Man I would have all types of parenting advise for you.
Tell them yiu smoke weed, I started growing as an early teen, you can't hide it. If you feel they shouldn't do it till they are older or if it relates to school work idk.. That's on you

Dude don't get me wrong, my kids will one day smoke with me, if they so choose too. I would prefer that if they wanted to smoke pot, I would freely give it to them. the problem is, where I live, its still illegal and kids have a tendency to "talk".

Kind of similar. I'm 19 at home with my pops and of course out of respect for him he knows about my grow op. My 15 year old brother found out recently but had known supposedly. I just exaggerated the fact of how important it was to keep quiet and how it's 'cooler' to not talk about it and to keep it on your own mind. I also told him id fuck his friends up if they fuck with my grow lol.
