Started mixing full strength and my ph was at around 4.9-5.0! So i got some earthjuice natural ph up and im gonna see if it helps my plants to actually ph the water now. My girls in flower arent looking so good

Experiment with lime in your soil and you wont have to PH, lime raises PH in the soil. (need soil meter to accurately tell what the soil is at, unless you feel like over watering for run off)

I actually just got my lime in the mail last night. I mixed up a bunch of ffof soil with black and gold organic soil and added lime to it. I added 1/2 cup in about 10 gallons of soil.

Best way to use lime is not to read the instructions on the box/bag lol i HAD to get a soil meter. best investment and ive dialed in the soiled perfectly.

bluelab it was 155$ but it does soil and water, and lifetime warranty with free replacement if it starts acting weird. Blue lab has the best pens and meters you can buy. worth the money. ones from walmart will read the same in any type of soil lol those are junk.

Damn thats pretty expensive. I already have a hanna digital ph pen that was 150 bucks. Could i just use that and test the soil runoff?

My water was tap water and it was kind of high ppm it seemed to take more to bring down ph I just started using distiller water bought from grocery store yesterday and it had close to 0ppm and is very easily changed ph was low today after only adding the root thrive

Ummm, I disagree with that statement. History has
many a failed grow that ANYTHING ( including plain ol' H2O ) should be pH'd before giving to your plants. If you chose to not pH prior to feeding, do so at your own peril. That's just my opinion and experience.

Carry on soldier !!!!
Actually the nutrient solution buffers out in the root zone with GO...I have done 4 runs with GO and never adjusted the PH...with really good results BTW.I run H&G now.

I really like the biothrive grow. It's got molasses, humic acid, and sea weed. It's a complete nutrition plus a bio catalyst for microbes in the soil all in one. There's really nothing else better on the market and the price point is fair. I didn't expect as much from general hydroponics. I dropped Sensi Grow for this stuff.
One of the reasons there should be no worries regarding PH
