GRAPE APE, BLUE DREAM 600W GROW

Whas up guys I'm back again with another grow started. my last one "seed experiment" didn't pan out for any seeds but got some great dank.
any way Ive got 8 grape apes and 8 blue dream. i used to do two week veg cycles and flip but this gro I've got 8 week veg period and flipped to flower last night. the plants are much larger than the usual.
almost too big for the 600w but I'm going for it. I've got clones rooted for the next grow so they get about the same veg cycle.
I'm planted in ffof and pro mix combined.
9x9 pots and all fox farm nutes.

hey guys starting off week 2,
so i seen a fatty growth spurt, bushing like crazy. i had to spread them out to a 4x4 area.

awwh they look so good, and the grape ape is already shooing its true colors..lol

gotta love that purple bud!!!!
anyway this will be how i run my sog from now on, 8 weeks veg while others flower multiple toppings and rooted clones go straight into 9x9 pots. I've noticed a dramatic difference with stock thickness and plant size since skipping the foam cups i normally put fresh clones in..
so all in all ill still be harvesting every 8 weeks but the yield will be much larger.
come on guys jump in, shoot me some input!

I had it once and was amazing anti anxiety strain that didn't make me pass out immediately after. Went out to a ren faire campout in the cold. Person I went for ditched me and was left sitting with complete strangers sitting around a fire pissed off, freezing and anxious about not knowing anyone. Someone passed around some blue dream and in no time I was having a blast.

I think part of it is I'm afraid it won't live up to the memory and I'll be disappointed.

Also hoping a friend in cali can get me some seeds cheaper.

Instead I put in for a cbd heavy sativa and a cbd heavy indica hoping to help with pain.

Does grape aspire need cool temps to turn purple? I'm afraid none of my purple strains will change because it never cools off here

dry ice in the groom a few nights in late flower? smokes the same green or purple, but /i do love some colors. Best of luck.

nah the ape doesn't require low temps for color i was growing it all year even in the summer and still purple reaching 100+ in my garage. I've since installed an a/c unit for the flower tent tho.. heres a pic of one of my harvests.....

hey iliatattoo pretty clever, I've also heard dry ice helps to boost co2... not too sure since I've never done a comparison but I've seen it.
i do however use it for shaking kief!!!..lol

I have to drive an hour for dry ice. For personal stash not worth it for color. But to sell, well they don't get the fancy stuff out here, purple isn't seen.

Was passed some grand daddy purp? Once in the big city. I lost my vision for a while and couldn't stop tapping away. No paranoia at least. I'll have to look up genetics in the grape ape

ya their all from clone same mother on the grape ape,got it from a buddy of mine almost 2 years ago and the first time i grew it i knew i was goin to keep it...

I've got my 16 in a 4x4 square so your 5x5 would be perfect.
my plan is to up it to 2 600w and 24 plant sog 2 month perpetual grows with 2 months veg cycles.. it should fill the 4x8 nicely.
ill be updating pics sat night, their all above 25 in. and the purple is coming in nice...

where are you located?
that sucks man I've got dry ice right down the street from me pretty cheap too.
and i am one to get paranoid but the grape ape is one that doesnt do it to me its actually very relaxing and with a good cure its got the best grape taste. one cut id like to get back is sense star man that stuff is fruity and a great yielder

you kno i just realized i posted the 9x9 pot but I'm actually in grow bags 2 or 3 gal.
the blue dream is super nice, i love the grape but the frost on this bd conquers the color of the ape. it starts heavy resin production in like week 3 then by the end of 7 its just ridiculous..lol the trimming is a bitch just clogs the fiskars like no other!!
but all in all these are the 2 best strains I've or any of my buddys have had for quite some time..
anyway its great to have you guys on and ill see you sat for an update
