From my perspective, both have welcomed it, provided it comes from members who follow the forum rules. If you have issue, it's with the site admin/owner, and the rules they provide. Don't make sock accounts when your previous handle gets banned for bad behavior. You can call foul all you want on this, valued members don't get banned because they value and follow the site rules.

But, that would assume that someone felt this website rose to the importance of creating a cause to change it for personal reasons. In the scope of my life I simply do not place that much importance upon it.

For UB though it is totally different. What would he be without this website? The majority of his time and effort is spent here. When the board gets wiped it essentially wipes him out of existence.... So, someone pities him and lets him hang out and he deludes himself in the meantime by telling all of us that his hobby is his job. Really sad when you look at it critically from a distance.

I am playing an incredible game of war in the pacific admiral's edition against a worthy opponent. This game will take the better part of a year played at a fast pace and the enjoyment is through the game and not in who wins or loses. On another computer I have WOW running when it is not down like today for maintenance. The ceiling of the living room needs to be painted before the new pool table arrives this afternoon. In 2015 I plan to participate in the expansion of my home inspection company that will be a great challenge and I have a personal business to run. And I live in an area where people come to vacation. So.... in the scope of things... seriously?

If you look at your life and everything going on in and around it you might realize like I have that this place does not have the significance it seems to in the heat of the moment. If you have spent more than a decade on message forums, some much more unfair than this one, you would also realize it's place.

I have been permabanned from places only to be unbanned due to protests... I have raged against the policies and practices of site owners and mods. Been there, done that, they sent me a t-shirt.

None of this is permanent, it is all just chaos until another server wipe. If you make friends here, get their contact info because tomorrow this place may not exist. I have been a member of whole forums that got wiped because some teenager had a power trip.

Never forget that this site is made up of members. Members who stay when their happy and if they are smart leave when they are unhappy. The place is created by all of us and we all have the power to change it.
