lol ya your right.. this huge epidemic is showing that most folks don't become addicted lol.. WRONG.. drugs are hitting more families then this country wants to admit..

what they show you on TV or INTERNET.. is CENSORED MEDIA.. you hear about the 1 in every 100.. if that..

look at cigs for instance.. how many people smoke cigs.. then say.. most folks don't become addicted..

maybe not at 20.. but keep doing your think.. asking dumb shit like this in threads lol.. and then in 5 years.. you will more then likely be using dope or crack. or meth.. honestly..

addiction is an epidemic.. and people think its a joke.. or a choice or whatever.. its a choice until you become dependent on it.. mentally or physically.. then its a serious addiction.. that can an will ruin your life..
Lol..has everyone JUST NOW taken their heads outta the sand? Tel US something we don't know...shits been going on since the 20s...1920s..and that's just when we STARTED to document cases...
im 36..when I was 8 I seen addictions...its not going away...time for everyone to wise up,legalize drugs, and educate people and users alike...regulated drugs DON'T kill. And let's not give the pharmaceutical rebuttal to that statement..those are far from regulated...
Its been done, and proven to work for users, and society.

people need to rememeber.. when you get something in your head. like im going to be an addict for ever.. you end up thinking ndifferently.. and think to yourself.. shit well if I don't got a chance I might as well do what I want.

studies are only as good as the test subjects.. and wen dealing with a bunch of addicts .. they lie.. meaning half the stats we see are BS.. big pharma will lie also.. why? because they can say that they don't need to do any more for addiction. when in reality . they should be opening up ibogaine clinics across the united states.. but they love addiction.. it allows the government to get involved on the drug dealing.. and that illegal money.. is used for secret shit.. delta force ops.. it funds shit they government cant make an excuse to actually PAY FOR on the books..

but curing addiction doesn't make money.. treating it in ways that they know don't work.. makes money.. makes people relapse.. go back and forth from using to detox to methadone clinics to whatever.. its a business.. they aren't going to study shit properly when big pharma is controlling shit.
You need some drugs :bigjoint:

don't let the dairy industry fool you...

I drank milk way before I smoked my first cigarette

the dairy firms don't want you to know but if your lactose tolerant milk...cheese fuck man even creamer can lead down that dark road of despair...

in the name of harm reduction get the word out...

As many here have shown, drug use doesn't equate addict.

Another consideration are co-morbid diagnoses, such as self medicating for depression, boredom, those who slip because of surgery recoveries and so much more.

Honestly, as much as I enjoy many of these substances, I don't crave them nor do I ignore the fact it can be easy to slip.

Addiction is a disease and should be treated as such, not criminalized. Nonetheless many people handle psychoactive chemicals with care and have no problems with them

Regulated drugs certainly kill, it's just a hell of a lot less frequent than when they can be cut with rat poison. Or be raw white heroin sold as cocaine by an idiot who apparently has never seen Pulp Fiction because they couldn't figure out why that was a terrible idea.
I'm willing to bet that 15% for heroin (btw I've seen it reported as up to 25%) is including a lot of people who only tried it once and walked away. My experience says that almost everyone who continues to play around with dope eventually runs into a problem.

Opiates are a bit like playing with fire.

I've always seen it as both heaven, and hell.

I can see how problems start, in a variety of ways. Opiates have an unusually strong effect, so it doesn't surprise me that people fall down that rabbit hole.

I've always had a rule, don't buy em. I get scripts and kind folks who will throw me left overs. Only once did I technically "buy" them when I traded an ounce of bud for 20 20 MG Oxycotin. Just too good of a deal to pass up.

I remember it was july 14th 2010 when I quit opiates for the most part, and I've only dabbled 2 or 3 times since then... each time disappointing... I would spend 100 bucks or so on some pills and barely catch a buzz, then regret it.

also, on july 13th 2010 I took a bunch of lsd :)

Yeah you won't have people dying from toxic cuts or the wrong product. But you still have people dying. If nothing else intoxicated misadventures will kill people.
