Partial Packs

Going through my seed tin and I've got a ridiculous amount of 3 packs, 5 packs, and partial packs (of 10+ packs) that have accumulated over the years. Time to do some house cleaning. Out of this mess I'm going to be running the following strains that consist of 2 strains for a total of 8-10 seeds per grouping. These were paired up mostly based upon flowering time:

1) TGA- Plushberry & Dynasty- Huckleberry Kush x Spacequeen
2) Magilla- Rosetta Stone F2 & Frost Brothers- Mercury Atlas x Mellonhead
3) Sin City- Sour Cherry Kush & Johnsons- Grandmas Sugar Cookies
4) Purple Gorilla & Kens GDP- Purple Dream
5) Green Point- GG#4 x Monster Cookies & BCBD- Chem Fire
6) BOG- Sour Strawberry & Mile High- Brothers Haze
7) Fat Marty- Fat Grape Cheese & RedEyed Genetics- Locktite
8) Mr Nice- Medicine Man & Kens GDP- Kens Grand OG
9) DNA- Hitman OG & Kens GDP- OG Kush
10) Bodhi- Sour Diesel x Snow Lotus & Ace- Banghi Haze
11) Bodhi- Gogi OG & Bodhi- Dream Lotus
12) Sannies- Boudica x Silverfields & NorStar- Booyah

I've grown seeds of a couple of these strains, but the vast majority I am either unfamiliar with or never heard of before. Anyone grown any of these, or know anything about them? Just looking to prioritize what to run first, so any feedback would be appreciated.....

I'd be interested in seeing you do Bangi Haze. Wonder if I had a one off or if she is the norm. Veg the shit out of her if you want big yields. A good, non racey sativa that grows like an indica.

I have not. This is a 5 pack that I picked up years ago when I bought Cheesequake (which I still have, and very much like) and Jillybean.

Any hermie issues with yours? This is the main reason I have yet to run them.

Magilla"s Rosetta stone is some interesting smoke. I ran 2 last year, got 1 female, avg yield, but the taste and the high were so complex I couldnt get enough. Taste like gingerale, perhaps with a bit of something tart. I cant really describe the high, i want to say it was mixed but leaned heady functional. Used to do a lot of reading on it.

I'm kinda excited about this one too. I had never heard of it before and then someone pointed out the genetics to me. Sounds really unique. Gingerale would be a fantastic taste.... especially Canada Dry! :-)

Tis a nice run lined up there. If those are what youre using to "clean up" id be interested to see what youre anticipating running lol.

I just started alot of the beans youve mentioned. The HBerry Space Queen (no info anywhere on the net), Gmaws sugar, gg#4, locklite, and kens grand og lol.

NGR run much :P ?

Although i have heard horror stories, i have not had any major hermie issue.... I have 300+ beans that i made using an F2 male and 2 different F2 females (one pink one purple) so I have run probably 10 different phenos. The only pheno thay ever threw a nanner only threw a couple and that was right around harvest. Never had any seeds come from it. That pheno is very sativa looking with pinacle leafs, a nice lime green with purple undertones and stinks like nail polish. One of my favorites!

Watch for the black cherry soda pheno. Will start to purple at the first sign of flower, nice indica leaning flowers with an amazing, unique fruity smell and finishes in 50 days. THAT is the keeper. Was told by a half dozen people that it was the best smoke they ever had!

Boy that sounds good! Guess I'll run that and the Huckleberry Kush x Spacequeen ones first. It's only a 5 pack so I'll be lucky to find the BCS pheno. How often did you see that one pop up?

There are a good 4-5 purple phenos and i really cool pink pheno and 3-4 green phenos. You will be able to tell the colored phenos within the first week of flower with the exception of the pink pheno. It is very difficult to tell the pink under HPS until around week 5 cause it is so subtle at first. Your chances of a colored pheno are prob 6 or 7/10, the remaing with be Space Queen dominent in appearance.

For the most part, i get all of the phenos pretty equelly with the exception of the nail polish. So i believe you have a 50/50 chance of hitting ^^^ that exact pheno in your pack of 5. I would say u would def hit on a pack of ten... I think you will be happy with any of the purple phenos. I dont care for the Space queen phenos personally, and they get yanked once I notice them.

Yikes! Dunno wtf happened to my post w the pics! Oh well.... Top Pic is BCS pheno, 2nd pic is the pink pheno..... Gonna look around for my pics of the nail polish pheno too, as it almost looks like a completely different strain. The actual bud structure resembles GG4

Grew plushberry. Nice taste, smell, bag appeal- WEAK high.-This was from a clone- Totally purple buds. Thought I was gonna LOVE it. High just didn't hit me right. Everytime I'd hit it I would end up "supplementing" with a stronger strain. Fucking TASTY tho.
Grew GDP purple dream- Got a blue dream pheno- Totally "meh"- This was 2 freebie beans. Other Purple dream was completely and totally intersex. Both parts in all their glory EVERYWHERE.

It's actually an old Bros Grimm line that he F2'd isn't it?

Also, Silverfields is a more hazey version of Sugar Punch. Some definite similarities. It's a real good cross. The best SP plant I had was better than any of the SF, but probably the SF was more uniformly excellent whereas I had a couple of SP that were good but definitely not in the same league as the best plants. All 6 SF were pretty similarly good if in different ways.

Taste is a big deal to me anymore. I'm so impressed with weed that tastes like it smells for some reason. Seems to be about as common as unicorns
