Im not sure that the answer to that question makes any difference. I've never left males hanging around so I don't know. Maybe one of the breeders hanging around here can answer that, but I would imagine any risk of that sack opening would be enough to remove it from the garden, whether in veg or not.Is the male pollen sacks are going to mature in veg. state? or its going to mature only in flowering state?
