/12 from seed means jus that 12/12 light schedule, not that there is no veg time. I wanna see what clone ur taking under a month or 2.

If that were true no one would grow 12 ..12 from seed there would be no veg time and they would be to small!!!clones don't need to mature they are as old as their mother. ..that's why u can flip them faster u just have to use more of them to make up for the size or veg them but that cuts into harvest time unless you got a separate tent.. clones are ready to go .. u can flower clones as soon as they root as opposed to waiting 1 and a half to 2 months to flower a seed you grew!
I'm saying snip a clone as soon as possible and throw it into 12/12 right away.. it'll produce the sacs or pistols without even growing roots... this is to determine sex only.. i suppose you might get .5g or something from it.
When Cannabis plants are young they produce nodes in a decussate pattern. If you attempt to sex prior to distichous nodal pattern emerging you will not get a show of sex because the plant is to young to produce the necessary hormones needed for sexual reproduction.

As for wasting time in veg. by using 12/12. I limit light and nutrients to reduce size. So 12/12 from seed when I'm running through a strain survey is no waste to me. Why should I throw that much more energy into a plant I'm not sure I'm keeping around and whose size I wish to limit?
So efficiency is a function of objective, design your grow around it and your grow becomes efficient for it's intended purpose

I am doing what works best for my situation. I'm doing a strain survey. So I do not wish to produce a lot of product that I will not use. I'm producing to suit my specific purposes. So yes I want small plants with little output, mostly SoG style so I can pack my table tight for max plants of all different types.Like I said.
So.. go 3 weeks, then flip. If you want ok plants. It depends on soooooo many factors. That's why I flip depending on height, maturity, strain, etc.

It takes more then three weeks! Don't be dumb..just because you flip doesn't mean it's gonna bud it's still going to veg till its mature enough to flower...just with less light..because your dumbass flipped in three weeks instead of waiting and understanding that a seed needs to grow up before it can do the duties of a grown plant..yes when you were using your kript kipper account you were pointing out a method of sexing.. then I pointed out that it won't work because the guys dealing with an immature plant and you got all hurt..
