There are many things you wouldn't want your kids to watch on TV.

Likewise, there are many things that seem fine at first, but in hindsight...not so much.

There are films and programs with hidden adult content, or adult jokes hidden in the subtext. Captain Pugwash was rife with filth.

Sometimes, you can't really tell if something is meant to be a joke, or is actually just a slip up, like this 'wind down' program in the evening on RTE Junior, the kids channel here in the emerald isle...

Y'all did notice they actually called the show 'Shits quiet time', right? I was particularly amused my as I refer to my boys almost exclusively as 'the shits'...

Rocko's modern life. But cow in chicken is pretty bad lol.

I remember watching an episode where the dad loses his chair and cow and chicken get it back but they're stuck inside the chair. Chicken's beak is sticking up in the seat and when the mom sits down on the chair she goes "OOOOOOOHHHHHHHhhhHHhhhHHhhh!!! What a MANLY chair!"
