Just wondering what you guys think about this soil curious about it, do you guys add anything more to it, is it possible to make it just add water soil thru the whole grow?

you could, but I don't really like the 707 mix, personally.
The vermifire is a much better soil, as well as the fox farm. The vermifire is a great mix, my favorite when I used bagged soil yrs ago. And I used it for my base for my ROLS/no-till containers, I added a BUNCH of stuff to it, but it's an excellent base, with the volcanic rock in particular.
If you do use the 707, you could add probably 1/2-3/4 of a cup of nutrients to it safely (each bag), provided you add the right type of nute, in other words slow releasers, if you were to add 3/4 cup of blood meal, you'd be chapped.
but i'd 1/4 cup of each of the following
neem meal, kelp meal, and crab meal.
I'd also add a half cup of minerals too, basalt, azomite, etc.
I'd also add more castings/compost to that also.
A water only with the 707 is going to be a lil hard, it drains a lil too much, i'd add compost castings and those nutes I mentioned.
let it sit for a month ideally.

My formula is basically just that. roots with vermicompost. I use kelp meal
neem meal, and crab meal, but i also add alfalfa meal and oyster shell. Glacial rock dust as well

I want to try zeolite. It breaks down slowly but it has high water retention and a neutral ph of 7.0. I heard its better than green sand

Roots is good soil but you will have to add. When I used it last 2 grows ago after about 30 days I started getting Mag and Nitrogen def. Buy some sunshine mix # 4 and just mix in some Dolomite lime, Azomite, Bat Guano Mexican, Alfalfa and kelp meal. Do that at 1TBS of everything per gal of soil. Been doing this and lady look green and better then ever in this mix and it cost way less then FFOF, Roots, Happy Frog and etc. I transplant to FFOF for flower. I like only flowering in FFOF cause I can use less during flower cause only the bottom half of 5 gallon will be ffof.

Oh ok cool thanks man. How long do let it sit before you start growing in it?

The veg mix I make with Sunshine Mix 4 believe it or not I don't let it sit. It doesn't hurt the ladies at all. I mix it up then wet the medium and transplant my lady into it. Never had a issue and I forgot I add Epsom Salt into the mix at 1 TSP per gallon. Great thing about all the ingredients listed is they come in big bags that last up to a year plus. The Bat Guano Mexican gives me my Nitrogen right away for veg and the alfalfa meal and kelp meal is broken down by the time flower comes so the ladies have everything I just like to use the FFOF because it has to Castings in it which I need for flower when I brew teas.
