Depending on the state it gets really crazy. In MI I would purchase my deer hunting license with a doe permit too in case I wanted to shoot momma. You can only get one per season too. But each season breaks down like this, you need your bow permit, muzzle loader permit and open season permit. I don't hunt anymore so I don't if it's still the same there.
I have heard in Alabama you get one per day per member of your club. So if your hunting club and 30 people, one guy could 30 as long as no one else did.
The seasons and limits are ecologically and population controlled and usually for good reason. The license and permits are revenue, just revenue.

Stocked fish are for fat old ladies in lawn chairs and guys with skinny arms that troll internet sites to catch.
I think you have it backwards Meat Head, the people that want to derive a benefit are the ones that draw a salary and pension for farting in the seat of the state force funded vehicle they drive around all day in.
