Green Dragon Help Please!

Today, i've been trying to make green dragon. I put decarb the weed and Bacardi 151 in a mason jar and then put it in a pot of simmering water. Only trouble is I rinsed my mason jar before with cool water before putting it in the hot pot so the mason jar instantly cracked in half so everything mixed into the pot. Now in the pot I have water alcohol and weed all mixed together. Anything I can do to save this at all?

1. Are you doing this with a gas stove or electric stove?
2. I have no freaking idea. Alcohol has a lower boiling temperature than water so evaporating wouldn't work I think.

Hrmmmm.... Oh shit what about making jello shots?

I guess you could strain and evaporate it and then redissolve it in the alcohol.
What do you mean by evaporate it? Like just leave it out in the air for days? What if I put it in the freezer? I know water has a lower freezing point then alcohol.

What exactly is Green Dragon? for an alcohol tincture, we never cooked it. just put your weed in a jar of moonshine for a month or longer and whammy
I've heard of that way too, this way is just if you want to make it quicker and don't want to wait.

Gotta get rid of the h20..dry it all out,then take the glass mess,which is coated,redissolve in alcohol,now it's h20 free,strain,merry Christmas,happy New year.

Lol I'm still confused? How do I dry it?

I have about 2 cups of water in about half a cup of alcohol mixed together. I have managed to get a lot of the weed out but it simmered for a while in the alcohol before removed. So how do I dry the water from the alcohol?

You can't obviously,so you dry both,then re-immerse all of it in alcohol...the goodies aren't gonna be evaporated(unless you mess up and leave the room for an hour with em on the stove.lol)

It's often problematic to separate water alcohol mixtures by freezing. I would leave it in a dish (you want the largest surface area possible) with a fan blowing gently across the surface. 2 cups of water and a half cup of 151 should evaporate in a few hours like that. Then when you get down to just having an oily substance add more alcohol and proceed to decarb.

Love it...all the good folks comin along to save the day...

Had somethng similiar happen to me was drunk as hell on whiskey and was busting out the mhrb extract I had soakin to show a buddy and ended up pretty much throwing my glass bottle with all my potential deems in it....hit the wood floor shattered both the bottle and my dreams that night...the more I think about it the more I realize whiskey, me and deemz cant hang out all together it always ends up with.something shattered on the floor

The cannabinoids aren't water soluable, and the alcohol will evaporate before the water does. Your best bet is to ADD fat of some kind. Butter, oil, margarine, whatever, melt it into the water slowly. Once it's thouroughly melted, because you decarbed your weed, the oils (thc, cbd, ext) will have merged themselves into the fat (because they ARE fat soluable). Then just stick the whole mix in the fridge for a few hours until the fat hardens, then just scoop it off the top, and you just made weed butter!

Edit: Dont forget to strain any weed particles out before cooling. Organic matter living in an anaerobic substance (such as fat) can cause spoilage and bacterial growth to appear

Imo butter would be your best fat since it will harden at fridge temps and make it easier to separate out of the water. Oil and Margarine have to be frozen then scraped off the top.

I usually run one Oz to on Lb of butter. So you can do some math and figure it out for yourself how much fat to use

My receipie. Take freezing cold IPA. Mix with plant matter, agitate for 60 seconds. Strain then filter. Evaporate completely into pyrex dish without heat.
Cook pyrex dish in oven at 230F for 45 minutes. Let cool. Dissolve residue with everclear using as little as necessary. Put ethanol solution into dropper bottle.

Warning, substance may fuck you up for 8 hours straight so start with small doses.
