I don't think the article is talking about an LP, I think it is about an MMAR grow.

Im sure the furniture restoration place didnt exactly go door to door asking if the smell and sounds from their place bother neighbours either.
The smell of varnish stains etc arent the healthiest either.

It is, which makes it even more ridiculous. It is obviously not in a residential area, and the chemicals in the restoration business pose an actual health risk, but buddy thinks his rights trump those of a sick person because he don't like the smell. I have to deal with similar assholes next door to my garden. The bitch knows it's a legal grow, we've spent large money on filters etc. to try to hide the smell but every so often she puts in another complaint to the city. The last time it happened and the city contacted me, I told them I had had enough and was about to hire a lawyer to deal with the harassment in a discrimination suit. We then built a chicken coup beside the neighbours fence. I don't think she likes the smell of chicken shit anymore than weed but it ended the complaints for now.
