question about cloning

I've seen . Cannabis cloned were the stems have many sets of leafs but I thought it grew colas with it's only one leaf per stem so i see people clone with a plant with many leafs on one stem but if cannabis doesn't grow like that how the he'll do u clone or am I just so confused by the way it grows cuz the only time I've seen it like that is when it is. Being cloned or is it a type issue and one kind you clone that way and the kind I have and see normally clones a different way that i am unaware of

no, usually cannabis will have many fingers or leave sets per grouping.. i've never seen a single leaf before, but have seen from 3 on up to 13..

ok yeah I'm not meaning fingers a mean like the full fan leaf more then one full fan leaf per stem comming off the cola

oh, ok, yeah, some people will strip the stem off all sets of leaves except for the top set.. others will leave them..

there's certain areas of a plant that are better for cuttings than others. the top, isn't a very good choice for a clone cut. the lower parts of your plant will root much easier/faster than the beefier/thicker cuts. i'm not saying the top won't root, it'll just take much longer to end up with a clone that takes off nicely. it usually takes no longer than a week for me to get roots that are ready for medium, sometimes sooner. i usually use something like dip-n-grow, but there are much better out there.

Now that I am looking at it I see that the clones I've seen are from lower stems with many fan leafs but most of the time u lose those that's why I'm use to not seeing it with the lower stems with many leafs and or topped plants seem to lack those leafs which seems to be a reason why they seem to clone more heads on topped plants ic I get it now so pretty much if u have many lower leaf clone them first if not and u have many colas instead clone one of ur.heads ic

I have it my question was about cloning in how ic some clones made out of heads and others made from fan leaf. As I understand now all mj has the big stems that have multiple fan leaf. But do to how its grown they fall off or have to be removed. And u should try and use the large stems with multiple fan leaf but If u have a topped plant with many heads and none of the stems it's fine to use a head
