dude im trying your 8/16 with that sleestack now cuz she needs to hurry up.If she takes too long flowering, I will just change to 8/16 for the last month and speed up her ripening process in a jiffy
I will do that.ripen up baaaaby!!!!!Nice to hear these reports about the SS. Special thanks to Daybreaker for the juicy pics. Let us know how she smokes man
I wouldn't grow this again indoor by any means. It was a tester for sure and it just takes too long, unless I was filling my tent with it but there are faster bigger better plants than this.Once it comes through the 8/16 and cures i'll try to post a taste test..cheersI hope everything turns out well for both of y'all. I also got sleestack freebies from herbies. Haven't popped em yet. Can't wait to hear how it smokes.
DB, that will make her ass ripen faster. I use it as a way to get Sativas to finish. The longer dark period signifies the coming winter and the plants hurry up to finish. I advise doing this only after "conventional" 12/12 does not work well enough, (when the buds are well established) because it will decrease final weight if you do it too early. Flower normally, and finish stubborn strains on 8/16. Hope this helps, let us know how you go bro -I wouldn't grow this again indoor by any means. It was a tester for sure and it just takes too long, unless I was filling my tent with it but there are faster bigger better plants than this.Once it comes through the 8/16 and cures i'll try to post a taste test..cheers
Im taking two new ideas and using them on the sleestack skunk, the 8/16 idea and im defoliating(taking all the big lower leaves off that don't get any light. She's close enough to try these things.DB, that will make her ass ripen faster. I certainly think both are good things to try and get those sticky nugs to ripen. My plants are experiencing natural defoliation, ie- too many fan leaves are yellowing and falling off @ the bottom. They seem to be really N hungry and I've started feeding them fish emulsion (my veg fertilizer) in flowering in order to keep the leaves green. My plants are all experiencing bottom defoliation and I suspect it may be due to the change in my fertilizer. I went from emuslion (5-1-1) to Earth Juice Bloom which has Zero Nitrogen. Am I correct in assuming this is a N issue?Im taking two new ideas and using them on the sleestack skunk, the 8/16 idea and im defoliating(taking all the big lower leaves off that don't get any light. She's close enough to try these things.
