Hello everyone, I am posting for my brother, Jeremy Age 36.
I don't know this community and this post is for anyone who has known my brother to some degree.
Yesterday night me and my father went to check on my brother as we couldn't reach him for 2 days... It isn't much time but we found it alarming as he is one who could always be reached.
We found him in critical condition. Barely alive, unconscious, barely breathing and his body was cold. We called the ambulance which arrived within 5 minutes and after they stabilized his condition, he was rushed to the hospital.
Today we got the bad news, that he got a stroke to the back of the brain. He is currently in a coma and the doctors who have done all they can informed us he may not wake up.
He is now in intensive care, and we will see how things go as time passes by.......... but it's not looking good.
It is hard for me to write this, but I know he was quite active on this community and being an I.T. fairly familiar with forums, I know we always make good online friends. So I felt it would be the right thing to do to keep people who might have known him informed.
Jeremy is an astonishingly kind, caring and loving guy. A good dark sense of humor but ... only humor. He would never hurt a fly and would always over think things, caring about what others think.
He has a younger brother, me, an older sister and parent's who love him.
Me and Jer are brothers, very different and we never always saw things the same way. But I love him.
We would always be together on weekends with a great group of friends we have known for ever.
Having bon fires, going to rock concerts... we have always had a great deal of fun, all together.
We would rent cottages with a spa, we would go camping... whatever activities we did, we were together.
This is a shock... Here I am in his apartment, looking over pictures, crying and wishing for a miracle...
So, if anyone wants to give him a prayer (you are hearing this from an Atheist Agnostic)
If anyone want's to share kind words, any support is welcome.
I can't guaranty I will come back here, I wish all of you well and I thank you for any interactions that you have had with him. Knowing him, he appreciated you all and this community.
I hope he will come back to us....
I wish everyone here good health, good friends and a bright future.
Stay educated and care of each other.
Take care
