Add water thats above 5.0-5.5.Its free. Faucet water is prolly like 7-8. The right amount of water and you will be perfect at 6.3

2lb of potassium hydroxide to 1 gallon of water. Add potassium hydroxide to the water slowly, be careful, can cause bad burns. That is the same thing as 1 gallon of PH up for $15. Water will get hot as you add the lye, give it time to cool if it gets too hot before adding more. (start with 2/3 full gallon of water, top off with water after lye is fully mixed.)

Or simply add something that benefits the plants, DynaGro's ProtK has a PH of 10

Updated my post, I meant potassium hydroxide not sodium hydroxide. It's also useful for the plants.

You can buy food grade online or as a drain cleaner (check quality first) at home depot or similar.

Fish tanks and swimming pools need to be ph'ed also. Pet supply store, walmart, pretty sure baking soda works. So many ways.
Baking soda, I got baking soda!!!

The CCrystas in baking soda will kill them but ph up for plants is the same as for pools ?
No, they use the sodium hydroxide instead of potassium hydroxide. Also not as pure because you aren't suppost to drink or water with that water.

Ph up is for water. Water is for plants. How exactly does baking soda kill plants again? You just might have all the answers bro, might not need any help.
How is the limestone and burnt wood used?
Why do I feel like I am being trolled?

Oh no not at all I'm not sure how baking soda kills plants and I don't have any answers that's why I am here but I was just bouncing it back off of u to figure out a good solution and I kinda get that whole ph up is for water and water is for plants so ph up for pools is ph up for plants that's what I didn't understand and I was reading on rasing the alcaline of the soil and I came across burnt hard wood and lime so I figured I'd run that by and see if anyone heard of it or if it works but gguess not

Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate, so it will work ok at low levels, but will build up sodium/bad.
That's what I was trying to say so like if I'm at 5 and I want to be at 7 a table spoon or so in my next water won't harm it my only issue is planted food and fertilizer and other stuff has sodium so idk if it will be worse off to use baking soda cuz I got plenty

Burnt hardwood is what is used to make potassium hydroxide.Lime is calcium. Once you filter down all the impurities out it works great.
