Why does everyone hate on these people? I know the one guy has a strong personality but are the genetics really that bad? It seems like everytime I look at anything with GHS on these forums theres about 20 people hatin on them but I don't see any pictures or examples of why just that they hate them. Can anyone give any real legit reasons why not to run these seeds and provide pictures? I ask because I am growing one of their strains and it has gone very well so far, maybe not the best genetics I have ever had but I only popped 1 seed and got a decent plant from it 100% germ rate so I wonder whats with all the haters?

haters grew GHS seeds and they sucked ass, they did not grow it again, WHY would they have pics. WHY do you think they keep telling you they suck? Because they have grown them out to finish, having a nice looking plant don't mean shit if the bud sucks.

Really, What's worse than getting your hopes up buying some seeds, spending months and $$$ to grow it out and then find out after drying that the bud is mediocre at best.

I will give a smoke report soon on my plant, cutting on sunday so will get some bud pics up too but it has some large impressive buds that smell pretty good.

Because the dude is a pompous dick, and their genetics are more or less regarded as shit by respectable growers who have experience with their gear.

I've never liked the guy from cannabis documentaries and the sort before I even got into growing. After knowing more about the back story, I wonder if he had even original genetics or more or less cut rate his beans with bad selection from f2/f3 made from original F1 beans.

Over all, I've never been impressed nor heard respectable growers on here or elsewhere praise their gear. Anyone who has generally hasn't grown or hasn't had access to awesome bud. I'm not saying gems aren't there, but I'm not wasting my time or money

what have you grown? i wanted to grow something tasty and i thought being super lemon haze was a 'cup winner' its taste would be legit? im still hoping its good. have you grown any really tasty like fruity/sweet strains? if what are they? and who were thier breeders/company?

People used to love GHS, when Nev and Shanti were the breeders and arjan did what he does best he was marketing and retail.But neither of those 2 legendary breeders is part of the picture anymore, and arjan is not a real grower, and neither is the other main dude for GHS (franco or whatever his name is).
Another problem with them that I never thought of till @Frenchy Cannoli said something is that in all of their Strain hunter vids they leave seeds with the locals.. Therein contaminating landrace stock with their shitty fem herm schwag.

so i see you grow the bodhi seeds... do they have anything sugary/sweet tasting that you have grown out your self? im already looking for a new strain to try out given that the probability is in favor of me not being happy with this strain

ETA: Honestly you should ask @Amos Otis because he has more of a palate for fruity strains than me since I prefer skunk and he grows single seeds often so he has a little more variety experience.

ya i just hopped on the bodhi seed thread and it seems thier seeds are always out of stock... .. which i guess is a good thing because people wouldn't keep buying them if they sucked... i guess im gunna play the waiting game

thanks for the heads up i'll try to find him... its really really hard to find legit fruity strains... most of what is out there is over hyped... i've been on the look out for some strawberry cough but it seems i have a better chance at meeting jesus

if you want fruity tasting gear, check out some of subcool / tga's stuff.. sub is known pretty much for choosing fruity tasting / smelling stuff as parental stock in most of his crosses..

what do you grow? i've heard tga is all taste and no power... my last strain was WW so i need high thc and taste... i feel like its easy to find a high THC % but nothing special taste wise... most of what is out there i feel is skunky/hashy tasting and to me that is just meh

I've had a few with candy aspects, but it's more genotype expressions with poly hybrids, wouldn't say for certain it's a guarantee

Look into cheese strains, along with bubblegum and blueberry. I grew super lemon haze for a couple of years and really liked it. Somewhat of a quick tolerance buildup though.

I grew the Exodus Cheese from GHS along with their chemdog,church and big bang.the EC was by far the best of them.i pulled around 7~8 oz off of it .The bud was very dense and had had s funky pungent smell.I couldn't smoke at the time but my people couldn't get enough....but the other strains were lackluster.chemdog was shit:definitely not real chem.Church was weak but had a good taste and smell.
