Just wondering if anyone else is growing right now in California? I know it's possible to veg indoors and then put outside when it's time to bud cause the winters aren't too cold here. Lowest temps are about 40 degrees at night. Daylight is about 10 hours right now. Anyone have any experience with this type of grow ? Any info is appreciated thanks

In the south where I live it gets to damn hot in the summer for me so I sprout seeds indoors in the fall and flower outdoors in the winter utilizing the shorter days...the only thing I have to keep my eye on is bud mold...the dew point comes into play here so I hope for breezy weather...g/l

I'm here in central cali too amd I've considered a winter grow but I hate the cold and it's too cold for me. I'm getting excited to start a new grow in about 2 months though.

Thank you Guys very much for the info, good to know I'm not crazy lol. So what I'm planning is to sprout 100 seeds I just started germinating and then veg them in my room until I run out of space. they are germinating in 12 oz Dixie cups and after the cups I want to just put them straight into the ground outside to flower. I'm guessing they will get about a foot or two in the Dixie cups , does this sound reasonable or possible ? I know They will stay small if I only veg in small cups but I only have limited indoor space to veg so I think it will be kind of like doing an outdoor winter sea of green crop. Anyone have any tips for me ? All appreciated thanks guys

Oh yea I'm also wondering if starting plants right now will be too late of a start considering the grow season starts in April. If I start flowering in a month In February then will I end up having to tarp them when the daylight gets back up to 12 hours a day in April ? Thanks

Throw them out, but put them in my grage at night. About mid feb plants go out. Stop growing outdoors about may. And work on main grow.

Might make a green house this year. And plant in ground march for a nice crop

I just grew an experimental plant right after i harvested my real crop. Plant began flowering after it got about 4 inches tall haha so i got like 1.5 grams off of it. If you veg inside then put outside, it would definitely work though. Just gotta watch out for the frosty nights cause its been pretty damn cold here in socal for us, just fucking snowed in the inland empire and i got like 6 good inches at my house. i feel like they would be close to reveg if you put them out during February but you will probably be okay. I cant wait for this upcoming season! Good luck :)
