should my clones be put under 24 hrs. of light or should i do 12/12 for them?

I'd do 18/6 or 24/0. From what I've read eather works fine.

12/12 is when you flower.

With my clones I rooted for two weeks, vegged for 1 week then into the 12/12 room.

I want to see how a 12/12 grow from near start to finish would compare to the monster moms at 40+ days in flower.

i was just curious. that is what i have done with 2 burmese i have in my outdoor grow. they are indoor right now and when 12/12 hits outdoor i will move out. i have a cola from the soil right to the top, about 10 inches so far at about 5 weeks 12/12

When they are flowering this concerns me,but vegging a straight 24 cycle is just fine not trying to grow a sequoia just a decent height plant.

I've always vegged 24 straight. Never seen a tired plant.

24/0 vs 18/6 is an age old argument that will never end. until there is a pure contrilled testing we will never know which is better. that being said i do 24/0 just because i dont worry about elec bill...

i've got CFLs (125w = around 500w regular, i think) so I decided why not-- i do 24-0. The plant seems to be doing great. It is AK48, about a month old, and is keeping nice, short but filling out well. I am also LSTing, which might make a difference.

i did have some problems with bottom leaves turning yellow, but that was either watering/nutes. I think the 24-0 actually helped the plant during that rough patch (had to cut 3 fan leaves off).

at night the plant gives of more co2 than it does during the day. and dose not take it in and during the day it also gives it off and takes it in and what was produced during the night. so more co2 bigger plants and buds. it may not be that much better but all the benefits added up i like it better. personal choice
