Affordable?

I couldn't remember if I had a smoke alarm or not. It was 35 years ago. I don't even recall if they were even available. I never said I didn't have one. You did. Repeatedly. With no evidence at all. So, basically, you were lying. Just for your desperation to demonize me because you can't refute me. Sucks to be you.
Poor Poor Red
In this thread you state that smoke alarms were unheard of in 1982

post number 417.
Now you saying you can't recall if you had one. Guy I know how many I have. I have to in order to check them twice a year.
Neglectful and irresponsible.

i'm a firm believer of putting it all on the table and this includes all your cash.

if everyone paid their fair share from all their cash we wouldn't be in this situation.

it's because of the broken tax code..its wild west city..but we still have the new sheriff in town. he's gunning for 3 key issues (last 2 years) and tax code is one of them..a republican congress you say? teehee..then EO pen is mightier than the rescumlican sword.

a flat 15% from everyone*..win-win

*% of poverty is excluded from everyone
Again, "cash" isn't taxed at a federal level. Only income. Fair share? There's the rub. Everybody's definition is different. See, you, who live by taking from the system, say "the filthy rich" (meaning anyone making more than you do) should pay "more". Well, they already do pay more. Perhaps they feel YOU should pay more. I think you should pay as much as, oh say, Mitt Romney. How can equal contribution not be "fair"?

How many, exactly, did you have in 1981? You're not going to convince me or anyone else that I neglected my family. This wasn't about my family anyway. This was about your typical dishonest tactic of demonizing those who make you look like a moron on the internet. You still look like a moron, but have added "low life liar" to the mix.

paying 35%, 25%, 15% 10%(take your pick of rate) on 12k is very different from someone with capital gains that are hidden or loopholed to death..loophole that are not available to the middle and lower classes so, to somewhat "equalize"..food, heating and water..even sec 8 housing assistance is available. welfare is only available to those with minor children and a job. medicaid is only available to those with minor children.

the single and childless really get the hosing.

Lets see...In 1981 I lived in base housing. It would have been two. One right outside the kitchen and the other in the hallway by the bedrooms. We also had a fire extinguisher under the sink in the kitchen.

It would have been? Why do I think you are lying? Oh yeah, we catch you lying all the time. You don't pay your bets, either.

" loopholed to death"? Do you even know what a "loophole" is? You're single and childless, yet you take out far more than you put in. Please don't bring up the imaginary high paying career where you prepaid all you took out that you gave up to live on the dole. Nobody believes you willingly left a $800,000/yr job to collect $12,000/yr in welfare.

You haven't proven anything, so that was a lie. Tsk, tsk. Pretending you made a point when you didn't.

students
husbands or wives paying child support non-custodial

Actually, I confess I do think you are stupid enough to give up $100,000/yr to get $12,000/yr to sit on your ass all day. So you win, if you call that winning.
