sunni think about this for a second you start your own business and your start up cost is lets say 100k well you have to take the risk dishing out that money from your own pocket and if it fails your out 100k

so he took the risk its his business he gets what he wants because its his he literally owns it and he doesn't do the labor why??????

and ive looked into starting my own company were i import RDAs and mechanical mods from clone suppliers in China then selling it on ebay and to local vape shops and ive been through what the start up cost and thought about it heavily

id have to take the risk spending a few thousand dollars on products and shipping costs to import plus advertisement to have a professional photographer take pictures of stuff im wanting to sell so it looks presentable for buyers then if i make 20,000 ill have to pay taxes to paypal so ill have a bigger peice of the pie then any employees i hire because i had to pay all that and there salaries not knowing if im gonna make money or not

thats a shitty deal and a tough call.
I would draft all the suspicious charges and call him over for a meeting with yourself and your accountant.

I would ask him to explain some of the charges you're finding in detail.

Then I would listen and see what he has to say and what his explanation is.

I would put him on the spot and drill him so he has to answer then listen.

He will either condemn himself, or give an explanation.

Sometimes it is wiser to sit back and let him tell you what is gong on, that way he may or may not inflict his own punishment depending on his thoughts on the matter and his attitude towards it.

Then he will know he has been caught and in is debt.

for the sake of your family, sometimes silence and pressure is more powerful than outrage and anger.

@ttystikk not true. i won't speculate on wifes condition or visitors allowed around her but it is pretty easy to keep a lid on this, mainly because it won't explode into paperwork, court, gossip. these are business men not schoolyard kids.

I couldnt agree more , money is just a tool & nothing more , money shouldn't define how we respond to people we care about or love , or define who we are , at 62 yrs old & everything we own paid off its easy to say, i understand younger folks need for $ to survive but for us money is nothing big , ive got stereo speakers that cost more than i pay my brother in law for a yrs salary , i give away hundreds a month to Charities for kids cancer ,MS & Humane Society , not trying to brag or be a fool about money im just trying to put money in the perspective it plays in my life .

15 years ago i'd of told her because i never lie to her but its different now that her MS is running rampant , the MS caused legions covering the entire left hand side of her brain which causes her Dementia , 90% of the time she's my wife & a normal woman in her 60's , then other days she's in a child like mentality ( but still fully aware ) , those days she gets extremely emotional , extreme emotion with laughter for no reason or hysterical crying are part of severe MS like she has , its a slow killer .

I cant stand to see my wife unhappy & with all her medical issues im gonna make sure her last yrs are nothing but happy times surrounded by family who loves her .

Something most people dont realize about construction workers is that in order to become a Journeyman in a single trade it takes yrs of schooling , in many cases longer than a college degree , a Journeyman card is like a masters degree for a specific trade .

Take me for an example , it took me 3 yrs of school for my 1st journeyman card in waterproofing , then another 4 years for my 2nd journeymans card in architectural sheet metal , then another 2 years school to get my Certified Crane Operators card , after that 6 months more school in Drafting & basic blue print CAD in order for me to take a superintendant position , it took me nearly 10 yrs school to learn my trades & my brother in law holds 2 cards his own self , he's a Master carpenter ( think Norm on This old House ) & a Journeyman Plumber with 25 years experience .

There's alot of guys out there swinging hammers for a living but if you want one that knows his shit your gonna pay or he's movin on to better paying work .
