That's a terrible excuse because the seller has choice of carrier and SOME carriers are very reliable. If they pick a shitty one like USPS, they should shoulder responsibility for it arriving later than their stated 2 day shipping, AND they should probably not advertise 2 day shipping. And if too many people are buying from them to continue shipping on time, again, they should drop the two day shipping adverts. It is the seller's responsibility to ensure the product arrives on time, the buyer shouldn't have to assume the seller is lying based on the time of year.

Not a fan so far. Hasnt been shipped yet and has been over a week since ordering. Unacceptable when herbies can have a packaged delivered to my door in 6 days from checking out.
If he is from MI that's even more disappointing since I'm an hour away lol
im not incredibly anal about shipping time since the strain I ordered is t readily available at any of the overseas banks, so as long as it's delivered in breeder packaging I'll be content.

Alright guys, Finally got my order. Everything Looks legit, Got My Xmas Freebies ( 15 seeds ) . Also came with a couple Other things like stickers and a Pin. Packaging im going to give a 5/10 It Could have been better. Stealth 1/10 No customs to deal with but, some stealth would have been nice. Overall i will give them another shot Just not during the holidays.

As you say, no customs. The package is the same shipped a million times a week. I see no chance of problems, unless the seller itself is already being watched / packages followed.
In which case, packaging would make no difference. IMO, it's very safe.

Just to play devil's advocate, I would have two things to say. First, I would say that even though the chances are slim, customs is not the only government agency that has jurisdiction over the mail. Any package sent through USPS could potentially be opened, and if the package is crossing state lines it is still just as illegal as ordering from overseas. Secondly, on the website it says "Evey Order is discreet shipping" (sic), and that would imply to me that there is a little bit more stealth than the usual discreetness that ALL letters inherently have. If all he's doing is dropping them in flat rate envelopes, that doesn't really warrant an advertisement of "discreet shipping", maybe he should change the wording to say "Every Order is regular, non-stealth shipping, (which should be good enough since you probably worn't need stealth"

only one person has the right to open packages sent via the usps, and that's the post master general, which also requires a warrant to do so, unlike any non federal shipping company such as ups / fed/ ex, w/e, which states very clearly in every office you walk into, that any package can be opened at any time, by any person.
people love to slam the usps, but imvho, if you're in the business of shipping illegal items, always go usps..

After doing a little digging, I found that this is true but with exceptions. From the US Postal Inspectors website:
"4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant."
Also, as far as I can tell, all Postal Inspectors have that authority, not just the Post Master General.
So I guess the moral of the story is make sure you're sending stuff first class. Does Priority Flat Rate qualify as first class? Or is it part of the "Other classes of mail"?

don['t take my word for it, i think that priority is considered first class as well..
and yes, sure, someone at the post office other than a post master general can open a package if say it were ticking, or were leaking chemicals, or something along those lines, but the fact still remains, the usps is a much more secure method of mailing something, imvho, vs. a private company, which states very clearly right in the office that any package can be opened at any time..

I agree, although the increased security goes along with increased charges if caught. And they are the least reliable when it comes to timely deliveries IMO. But yeah, I'd say security wise they are probably the best choice. I just wish that 2 day shipping didn't take 8 days to arrive.

I just had a thought. Mail is mail even if it hasn't been mailed yet, right? Like, someone opening my mail before it gets sent out is just as bad as opening it after it's been postmarked, yes? So, say you wanted the security of USPS, but the speed of say, FedEx Overnight. Could you put your stuff in a flat rate envelope, address and seal it, then put it in a box and ship it through FedEx? That way even if they opened the box they still would be legally barred from opening the package inside? I don't think that would technically qualify as mail fraud, and it might be an easy way to get the best of both worlds with even less risk.

NGR has been nothing but straight... they're a small op only a few people there filling orders at anytime, only 1 managing contact and customer support but very timely when I've had to contact him. Yes shipping was slow due to holidays and vacation, but you gotta make time with the fam, plus postal services already behind due to holidays so nothing unreasonable. Discreet packaging only means there is no way of determining the contents from packagings external appearance and labeling. No other stealth is necessary stateside, has anyone here ever had a normal package (non-fragrant), a package from mom for instance, opened by anyone?? Their packaging is way more discrete than this...

after much reading and debating I placed a small order to see what happens. went with Jordan of the islands- ambrosia 5 pack for $45. and that is the minimum price for a freebie as well. I will post updates to let everyone know whats up!

If you live in the states there's no need for stealth. What more do you need honestly. Michigan are trying to make money period so they no tripping about a zillion flat rate boxes being sent and I'm sure lots of people in that state know about this company and are not gonna do anything to fuck it up. People worry too much but I'm with Amos very safe so no need.
I've made about 10 orders from them so far all arrived in two days once shipped. Mom a pop operation and are filling seeds orders for around the world. Things may not get done as fast as the other big banks but IMHO I don't care. They arrive in two days once shipped. One guy pretty much doing everything. Let's see some of the people who complain do this by themselves. Not harping on anybody but some people just need to be easy. Prices way better than overseas banks too and don't have to pay guarantee stealth shipping. Perfect place for me. All they need is a few more breeders than they will be all I use except for a few banks that only carry certain breeders gear.
