Kids can get free edumacation right now. Just rack up a huge bill on US Student loans, then never get a job. The forebearance will be paid off in 20 years, so all you gotta do is hold out for that long while living in mom and dads basement.

If everyone has at least 2 years of college, won't that make jobs even harder to get? It's a competition after all, but usually the people who get the best jobs just know the right people. If you are a loner and have a 4.0, odds are you will forever live in Mom's basement and work a menial job. This will make you bitter and hateful of anyone who gets successful not because of merit, but because of social standing or government largesse.

NROTC is better, you can be in the Marines then. The Marine Corps is the only US armed service that trains men (and Women) that war is nothing more than a prolonged subhuman slaughter, and that each man (and Woman) must be forged in a fire of realistic combat if they are to survive without breaking from the mental and physical brutishness of real war.

I went to a trade school over twenty years ago and most students that were there that had their school paid by the government were at the bottom of the class or flunked out. So free doesn't really work to good in my opinion.

I believe I told you it was more like the wild west. I will have to take a picture of the public gun range down the road just a few miles from my house. I have never seen that much spent ammo on the ground, not even on the main land. And when you leave the airport in Hilo there is a big sign that says Guns and Ammo for sale.
