Parabolic Shorting out my timers

I posted previously on the fact that i had overloaded my timer with having three 600w lights on the same one. Now however i have each light on a separate timer and yet the 600w that has a parabolic shade keeps blowing its timer and ends up running constant.
Does anyone know of any problems with parabolic shades? is there a bad connection somewhere between the bulb and the shade causing it to short out? Im honestly lost with where the problem is coming from

Any answers would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds scary dude. Yes I would say there is a fault somewhere and would replace ASAP. Make sure you got a surge suppressor too. I would not be able to sleep at night with that light on.

Yeah i have manually switched it off for tonight but i can't keep going through timers like this haha costing far too much money. My only thought is that theres a spark jumping somewhere and causing a surge which fries the little timer and jams its setting to always on. Only just bought the parabolic too but oh well think i'll go back to my standard lights, had much less problems

Whoa your not kidding, i feel like i need some sort of degree in electronics just to look at that thing haha
Honestly it's probably the most technical thing I've ever done in my life. It was a nightmare to build that is two hundred amp sub panels on a heavy duty timer. I fucking hate working with electricity. Such a scarey and complexed situation.

The reflector has nothing to do with it. I have had problems with defective timers getting stuck "on" when used with a heavy load. Once they get stuck once, they will keep doing it. I always keep spare timers and check to be sure they are truly working as programmed.

Electrical fires are unpleasant.
Seek the council of a professional immediately.
Do not continue using a knowingly unsafe piece of equipment.
It would behoove you stop.
