Hey everyone. Iv givin up on growing its to much work and too risky. So basicay what im asking is, even though im only just over 2 weeks into flowering, if i was to give it 30 hours of darkness would this beef it up even just a TINY bit? Maybe make it a LITTLE more potent?

Then cut her, hang her for a few days until dry then cure the whole thing including leaves, and just roll a fat ass joint will i get high??

Im being serious not a troll.

What should i do. I only have 2x 20watt 2700k CFLs and imvesting in more lighting is a waste of my time so...

If you think that growing is too much work, then why did you bother in the first place? and NO! darkness wont do a thing in terms of potency...you need to be at least 6 weeks into flower before your buds have any real value...and only 40 watts of power wont yield Jack shit...ok at best to start, but not for any production...Really? to much bother??????

If I was to let her grow with these lights with a shitload of reflector material, would she be ok? It is quite small, shes already been through the stretch phase so its not getting any bigger. Overall theres about 2500 lumens in a little area. Would it be a waste of time atleast letting her grow out? Maybe a quarter ounce?

don't just give up, just buy nicer equipment. It takes a little bit to play.. but seriously if you let it flower out for another 6 weeks your looking at a couple grams... Your on the best forum imo. We are not trying to run you off, we just like to play on here..

I will look into a quad fitting for CFL spiral bulbs i have found online and use 2 extra bulbs.

Does anyone know where to purchase higher wattage CFL bulbs with more lumens? In nz i cant really find much higher than 23 watts for some reason

Buy a 400 hid lamp that is air cooled...not a cool tube! and you can have a harvest of around 10 to 16 oz if done right and even if you only went with a 250 you could still get at least 2-4 oz...I got 5 my first time, but then ...I know what I'm doing!...at least I think I do.

Buy a 150 HPS from amazon and thank me later.. they are less then a 100 bucks. And your first grow will pay for itself.. When you use good equipment like 1000 watt lights they grow rather fast. And its not that much work, or we wouldn't be doing it.. probably one of the best jobs on earth

Hahaha!! We here at Riu just messing wit you. no puting her in the dark wont help but to stress her abit.
best u can do now is get betta lights, and buy a grow book or two, to b honest not every one grows the same but the only timei i have heard about putting her indark is when ur about to harvest. It 3-7 days of total darkness they come out really frosty.:weed:

Nope, wont get you high at all. My first hydro try I got root rot and had to chop it. It was much more mature than yours and I didn't get high even smoking a big cigar sized blunt. No dice man, I like the advice the others above are giving you. Keep going.

Ok thanks everyone advice taken on board..

Just one other question about flowering. With bud sites, how many calyx's do you get per bud site? 1? Or a bunch of them? Because as you can see in my pictures, at the top of the colas they have lots of hairs, but lower down the branch, i have only one set of leaves which havent grown, they are very small, and more hairs havent grown in thoughs locations. So im guessing it wont grow any more? Or am i wrong? As iv never had a budding plant before, i dont really know how the buds form and develop. Does the abount of leaves near the bud site mean more calyx's? If anyone even understands what i mean. Please answer this very curious as to how they form
