Australian growers - is this soil good for seedlings? Buying seeds online?

Yeah Australian laws are bullshit, and then I read not so long ago something about legalising Meth... But won't even legalise medical MJ -.- . I understand as I have certain family I need to hide it from as well. Have you thought about what you are going to do with the smell of your plants when their flowering? As the smell is really strong and if your growing indoors it can stink the whole apartment out.

My bad here: ..I should advise mixing whatever mix you have with 25-30% perlite by pot volume
but note as you are an Aussie grower, heat can be a real issue here, esp. right now?
and I advise caution with any moss or peat added as it will/can contain a heap of nutes that may damage the roots
the perlite is used to dilute the hot soil effects and to reduce root compaction,
also to air rate the soil some​

and anything scotts sucks ass bro go to a garden center or a soil depot to get good soils nicks mix is another good one stored at most hydro shops

soil is a little easier than hydro and recommended for beginners. soils is more forgiving if something goes wrong, plus it generally tastes better than hydro

remember hydro can be done both outside under the sun and indoors under lights. same as you can grow in soil outside and inside

remember hydro doesn't mean growing indoors it means growing in water

Oh nice that sounds good! As far as I know that's the piece you need :). I have never used carbon filters though but from what I have read they are recommended and work well. I will also be purchasing a couple :).

It would never happen I just saw an article from "sunrise" the morning tv show channel 7 or 10 not sure which one it is hahah but yeah what a joke, the damage ice does to you compared to MJ is not even comparable actually.. I don't even understand why they would even say such a stupid thing -.-!

i vote for full legalisation of drugs, all drugs, why let criminals make millions tax free a year for selling potentially dodgy drugs when the government can legalise, tax and regulate it. id rather pay a little more and know exactly how strong my acid/mdma is

Yeah that is a good opinion/point reza, there are a couple substances I'm against and would not like them legalised. Reason for that being I have grown up around people using the substances I'm against and to see the people now with destroyed lives and with no one or dead, just makes me realise how fucked some drugs are and hate seeing people go down that track! But each to their own :)

my view is that people who want to use it will find a way even if its illegal. why not make it a little safer. and the revenue made from taxation can be used for education and rehabilitation.

there are drugs out there id never touch but would still like to see legalised, at least that way we know they arnt being made with shit that can be bought at bunnings

This is so true. It should be the basis for all debates regarding drug policy everywhere. So sensible yet so covered up by fearful rhetoric built up over decades.

Soil, especially a well made organic mix is the way I go. This is for ease of growing more than any other reason.

I wouldn't touch Hydro unless I had someone right there to hold my hand.
