yo CCC, you use limewire? go download Slaine, he's from inner boston, very underground. hes the fuckin illest rapper. some of his good songs are : Boston, This Is My Life, and Cocaine and Blue Eyes. I also like Close Your Eyes.

yo joe! thats what i'm talkin bout, i grew up on: ice cube,LL,too short,2PAC,nwa(with ice cube), snoop(he came a little bit later). kool moe D,WHODINI,BDP,RUN DMC and a ton of others i would be all night naming. this new hip hop to me is a joke seems to me its all about dancing and no lyrics, i miss the older rappers that could take you on a journey from the hood to life reality, to partying, then back to the hood again. but i do like luda and Ti, slim thug and a few other rappers that started round 00' 01. who could forget the Ghetto boys i still have there very 1st album with "assasin" on it. dammit i could talk for days. peace out.

im not from the states and ive never heard of any of those rappers.

I don;t know about Cypress Hill... too schticky/not enought true substance in their rhymes for me. Maybe Ice Cube swayed me when he said they're claiming LA but really from Southgate....

there is obviously no any older hip hop fans here so so for the younger ones i mentioned them.
the journey back to the old school is a long one.
