hey I'm new to growing and I have 8 plants and my biggest one is a little over a month old but I think it seems a little short it's only 7 inches can yall give me ur thoughts

I am using floresents and I have them about 3 inches away I am fixing to put a 400watt hps how close does it need to be and when should I put it in flowering stage

Depends on how big you want it. If you want a manageable tree veg it for a month or so, then put it in a 5 gallon pot and flower.
