Been learning allot of shit from my buddies though and reading and watching youtube videos. You guys help allot too so I don't have to ask them stupid questions like this. Lol but I know the basics and got all the information I need to grow. Now I'm just waiting on my taxes and I am going to order my equipment and get clones from a good friend who has many different strains to choose from. Excited and ready to do this. Sick of buying my medicine from dispenaries or growers. Waste of money when I know I can just grow my own... and better. I get fucking pissed. None of these dingle berries cure there buds after they dry them, if they even dry them all the way. So I decided to grow own.
Do yourself a favor and start with soil. Soil is forgiving of a few mistakes and if you get yourself a decently amended soil you can grow some nice plants and get some top shelf smoke. DWC is more for the intermediate grower. Get a feel of how the plant functions first hand not just from research. I thought I knew it all and went soilless my first grow, man was that a shit show. I got bud but it was shitty and not very much.I been researching hard plus I been in lots of my friends grow rooms and helped do work as I live in a legal medical state and I'm a card holder. Being in there rooms made me fall in love and want to do it myself, but better. Im taking everything i learn and trying to outdo my friends with better weed and bigger crops.
My only advice would be to buy yourself a decent hydro set up. Seems like there is a noob on here everyday who built their own DIY hydro set up using a storage container and end up with root rot. Just saying. Read up and get good gear.

like I said my best friend lives a half block away. He's got three rooms going for several years. If i had a problem I'd call him and he'd come help me in a second. I know the hydro store owners and dispensary owners. None of my friends who I trust wud steer me wrong on my grow. They all been doing it for years. Only reason I haven't is cuz my kids mom and I were together. Now we're not so she can't tell me no. It's on brother. I'm gunna grow the best buds and lots of them. I'm gunna scrog it in my tent under the 1000 watt.
I just use a $3 bucket with hole 2 inches from the bottom and $15 worth of perlite Verm mix, GH nutes, $100 LED maybe some CFL supp and grocery store .30 a gallon filtered water. I do have a nice powergrower hydro set up. Used it once and it worked fantastic. Also cheap ebay ph meter and old aquarium pump to bubble my feed or water before giving it to the plant. Plan on going 1 part nutes next. lol. Good seeds make a lot of difference. I sense a DIY hydro setup coming up. lol, like the guys who sell them don't make em right. I like cheap and easy.
flawlessIll show you veterans what's up. Obviously I know u have to have a black bucket and good pumps and stones and nutes. Don't doubt me. I'm 28. Been researching for the last two months on what to order and what to do. My dream has been to grow my own my whole life. I got this. I'm no dumby. I've seen ppl fail cuz they thought they knew on there own and did no research. I'm not makin any mistakes. My first grow log is gunna be named "flawless"
