Getting Ready For 2015 In North-East America

Hello everyone. I'm starting to prepare for the outdoor season here in New England. I have a location i found on google earth and will take a hike out there this winter to find my plot. I want to go pretty big, I want to have around 20 plants and about 4 plants per plot (don't wanna leave all my eggs in one basket). I want to try to pull off some pound plants using training techniques like topping etc.

I want some strain recommendations. I need some fast finishers and mold resistant strains so preferably some Indica or Hybrid strains. I have been looking at Timewarp and Northern Lights but want to have more suggestions.

It's not how it was years ago were there weren't THAT many strains. Nowadays you ask a question forgood strains and iit's like going to Manhattan and asking for a pizza spot. You will get many answers and most likely not two the same.

You already know what you're looking for indica or mostly indica and since it's a gorilla grow I'm guessing you want fem. So there are no seeds, unless you can go there often.

just go with a good well respected breeder that has proven genetics.


Also you may want to think about doing a few autos since it's very nice to have bud by the 4th of July instead of waiting until almost October.

Very nice post thank you. I agree 100% about running some autos. I may do 10 photos and 10 autos to get a harvest for the summer and I can save some cash from this new job I got. I'm going to be buying from Attitude Seeds, and they have a very nice advance filter that I looked over with some very nice strains. I really liked your reference to NYC pizza haha.

I found a location (not a plot) pretty close to my house. I could venture into the woods at night to tend to my crops. It's private property and there's a lot of "No Hunting" signs. I was figuring id find my plot somewhere here. It's about 2000 feet away from any houses.

here's what we work with for parent strains -


green poison - sweet seeds
seawarp- reeferman seeds
pineapple chunk - barneys farm seeds
purple pineberry-secret valley
ben johnson - heritage seed
s.s.early bud - wild rose seed
sea level - mighty might seeds


all these strains work well in maine and finish in early to late sept

Not sure about the Northeast, but everywhere in the South is full of no hunting signs, but that surely doesnt mean there arent people hunting there, quite the opposite usually. 2000 ft is not very far. Not saying it cant be done, just tread lightly

Yeah bro I really wanted to run some Timewarp but as farm as I know they are only regular seeds.

Yeah i'll probably end up running more autos for this reason now.

Hmm interesting, i'll be sure to check that out. I'm probably going to run some autoflowers in my backyard and hide them in a big grassy bush i have on my property, as well as in the woods plot. I may save some money and just run the dank bagseed I have and I have one Dinafem freebie (Blue Kush) so if all goes well I should have 4 females at least of photos which could get me a half pound to a pound if done right.

Blue dream or Cherry Pie in 200 gallon smart pots, tie into a water source and set up a drip system, build two layer cages around the plants, thank me later around fall ;)

afew things. when your out at night your going to get seen. poeple will see the light from far away. make sure there mostly indica. they have to be out really early or someone will find them. hunter scout for hunting seaon. dig big holes. and mix in alot good soil. depending where in the trisate you are. i wouldnt go in valleys near water.dew will collect and mold your bud. spray with neem at least once a month. dont plant tell everything else is green. and if you kneel down and can see far threw the woods that means the deer population has eaten off everything they can reach and you better fence them. if not they should be ok along as you dont put them out early. i chose spot yrs in advance and trim brush and dig holes and plant cover trees to hide the spot beforehad since doing this i have no tbeen well im not going to say it. bad luck

I got some "obsession" as a freebee last year... from WoS i think. Im a new england grower... & was suprised how mold resiatant this was. Better than my norther lights & my white widow... which usually are pretty good.
