It seems that my girls are always on my mind and I look at them much too often. I am lIke a young mother with a new born baby. Just wondering if I am being bit ocd or is this normal behavior for new growers.

hell no keep observing see how she grows ,take notes while your at it and since the plant grows an average of 1- 2-1/2 inches a day you can see the slightest change in just a couple days haha. Happy growing my friend enjoy your view!!!!

I had some problems early in this grow, so I attribute my constant checking to that. Hopefully I can get down to just checking them once a day, but it is really exciting for me to be doing my first grow.

It's fairly normal. If you're gonna be in there zoning out and enjoying watching those ladies, get into a good habit of observing all the details. Many times I think I'm being OCD and then catch some issue developing, so glad I went in early to check....

New growers can love their plants too much.....too much nutrients....too close to their lights....too much watering......too much turning the lights on during lights-off just to look at them some more.

I have been guilty of all the above. Less is more in many cases.

After over 2 years I still go down and check my plants 5 times a day. It's soothing to watch them wave in the breeze of my fans. If I had a TV and computer in my grow room my wife would never see me.

I've actually considered putting one of my security cameras in the flower rooms so I can look at them on my phone and computer while I'm away from the flower room. I'm just not sure what an infared camera would do to the light cycle.

totally normal, I did all that at first also, now they get checked over very closely once a day, and their needs and wants catered to, other than that I have learned they do better the more I leave them alone, I think they miss me, and want to please me so they grow bigger flowers, LOL. I talk to them, and they have taught me some of their language, and now I am finally understanding what they are asking for in most cases.

You are a bit, ocd, like me. Makes for an attentive grower. But, don't over water.. Most of us, will get stoned with the babies to show them what they are in for.

And we breath opposite gases. What could possible be wrong with putting down the game controller and go stare at pot? It is much productive than this, isn't it?
