The person said they used spray to reverse the female so yes it's a herm but only cus he made it herm so he can make fem seeds with it. I've never tried to reverse a female and make fem beans but I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to look. Yes those sacks have started to open so best bet would be to chop the branch that has the sacks on them stick it in a cup of water and sit a plate under it to catch the pollen. Hope this helps
The seeds he made is alot cheaper then fem seeds he could buy plus he has the self knowledge that HE made those beans himself, for himself, by himself .
