Right. It wasn't that hard for me to give up meat. I can take it or leave it. And I never liked milk, even as a child. I only gave up diary during my vegan years because milk always upset my stomach and I believed that I could get calcium from better sources that also provided other nutrients, like almond milk, or spinach.i wish i was as responsible, i eat what taste nice, i just so happen to not really like any red meat
apart from ham/bacon occasionally, i do eat chicken a fair bit and i do like cheese and milk
so i could not be a vegan, i could not give up milk lol
Not at all. Like I said earlier, you can be a great cook and be vegan, the same as there are great carnivorous cooks. I didn't miss meat at all.M
It must be hard around the holidays tho huh
Come to Seattle honey! We've got shiptoads of AWESOME eateries from walk up to fancy. Lots of little independent grocery stores too for vegan stuff.yup spring on my step i wish i lived somewhere bigger with vegan restaurants and stuff though

A huge thing here is farm to table establishments that grow everything and put on the most amazing dinners. You can even watch/participate in cooking if you want.
you talking extra firm or super firm? I like the super firm. it's chewier. would that work too? Here's a quickie tasty treat, I go through 1.5 tubs a week:
Whack off a coupla 3/8-1/2 inch slabs off the firm tofu tub and liberally dose up with Tapatio or sriracha , have a frying pan going with your oil of choice very hot, slap the slabs on while splashing more sauce, flip twice and don't breathe cuz the sauce is now like tear gas. Let cool enough then eat. I've got this whole thing down to 5 min max. A lil salt and peper and its ambrosia
Yup, the firmer the better cuz I like the physical integrity....can either finger eat the slab or bite size cut it and it stands up to the forkyou talking extra firm or super firm? I like the super firm. it's chewier. would that work too?

this vegan stereotype only because cats are carnivores, or why?most vegans do not own cats
That's what I've always heard. They don't want meat in the house, even to feed to catsI've been to meatland. seen plenty
this vegan stereotype only because cats are carnivores, or why?
My sister (in her 60's) has been a "veggie"(not vegan) since her teen years, she will now eat only molluscs rarely.Went thru a transition. Five years ago she was eating crab shrimp, etc. 10 yrs ago fish were included and somewhere it that period all terrestrial animal products ceased. Except for her hair color, she looks like early 40's with some weathering; she's a scuba instructor and pro-diver.lol seafood is considering meat as its an animal just fyi!
oh i get it, it's b'czz the cats own the humans... i dig.most vegans do not own cats
