So, curiosity got the best of me and I went and read about Quorn.....it's fungus based (Fusarium venenatum). Apparently the filaments are very similar to those found in muscle tissue. It's not a vegan food though, because they utilize eggs in the process of turning it into the fo-meat.

I really like black bean and mushroom burgers. MorningStar makes some decent commercial shroom patties, but they do use egg whites and milk in them, too.

Oh and I really like this cheese replacement: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2013/05/cheesy-cauliflower-sauce.html

All this talk about food, I making me some chili with grass fed beef, going to dump that on some hebrew national hotdogs in some sarah lee buns and top with some shredded Velveeta cheese.

I bet that would flat kill off a long time vegan.

@sunni I found that after I quit meat I had more energy, which is weird b/c you'd think eating protein sustains satiability and grows muscle but after trying meat again I find it makes me feel very tired even after eating small amounts. Did you ever experience either one?

That's what I've always heard. They don't want meat in the house, even to feed to cats
i dunno, i thought it was eggs, i see this giant muscle bound cunt not long ago he was infront of me at the supermarket buying like 100 eggs
and nothing else

I'm fine with eggs. Love them Great nutrition IMHO. Low cal, protein rich. (LOL muscle bound cunt) body builders around here are all into the Paleo diet and eat tons of eggs.
